When painting outside, try to ensure the temperature is between 8 and 25°C for optimum paint performance. This paint is SO easy to use. The primer looked a little flimsy at first glance, a little bit ‘meh’, but BOY does it do a good job! The paint stayed consistent to the bottom of the tin and went on wonderfully. You’ll NEED good weather and you’ll NEED a clean surface but if you’ve got both of those, all you’ll need to turn an ugly yard into a garden is these two products. The victory red colour is a particular favourite of ours but don’t feel like that’s the only option – there are 8 others to choose from to get the look that’s right for your home. If you need to apply a second coat, wait the required time according to the instructions and follow steps 1 and 2 again.
Many times peeling paint on metal garage doors is down to the fact that you might’ve applied the wrong paint/primer or you didn’t prepare the door before painting. For galvanised steel, aluminium, etc such as garage doors, etc, we recommend spot priming these areas first with Rust-Oleum 3302 CombiPrimer Adhesion Hammerite have been producing metal specific paints since the 60s so it’s no surprise that this particular paint’s formula works well on metal garage doors. Application is smooth with the paint being sag resistant as well as having reduced runs on vertical surfaces compared to other paints.
