About this deal

A favourite treat of the Adepta Sororitas, when they aren’t praying, purging, training, or praying. Finally, we have the archetypal Death faction, the Soulblight Gravelords. This box contains the most miniatures of the lot, most of them skeletons and wolves. As far as I am aware, these are all newish models too, from the last couple of years. In terms of savings, we’re talking on the lower side here with 30% all around. Still, it’s a lot of miniatures to start a decent force with, 990 points worth. Soulblight Gravelords – Vengorian Court Contents

Update: Some prices have been revealed online. Both Valrak and Foyble have done a breakdown. (massive thanks to these hobby heroes). We have updated the article below and will continue to do so, but please treat these as indicative only, untl the prices have been formally revealed The Ossiarch Bonereapers are a legion of relentless soul-constructs, charged with collecting the Tithe of Bones for their lord Nagash. The Praetorian Spearhead falls under the command of Arch-Kavalos Zandtos – or a standard Liege-Kavalos, if you’d rather build him that way – whose hatred of the living inspires those around him. He is supported by five Kavalos Deathriders, 20 Mortek Guard, a lumbering Gothizzar Harvester, and four Morghast Archai – who can alternatively be built as Morghast Harbingers. Bases on last years 35%-40% discounts I would expect 180€ this year instead of last year’s 170€ and that’s what the % discounts are based on Space Marines 2023 Battleforce:

If you haven’t already, this is a fantastic time to explore the new edition of Warhammer Age of Sigmar. Four giant Battleforces thunder onto the scene this year to either expand your existing army or to help you take the plunge into the Era of the Beast. Battleforce: Soulblight Gravelords Revenant Legion

Savings wise, we’re once again looking at last year where we had anything from 25% – 37% in savings for these boxes versus buying the units individually at retail. That’s Nothing to sniff at! The latest on the new 2023 Warhammer 40k Christmas Battleforces boxes comes from Warhammer Community.Well, it looks like the rumors were all true, and we’re getting six boxes this year! The rumors even got the contents more or less perfect, but it’s better to actually have the boxes confirmed from GW! Every model here, except for the Hive Tyrant, is a new sculpt released only a couple months ago. The Norn Emissary makes for an epic centrepiece, and if you’ve got one already, just build the Assimilator variant and you’ve got two towering gribbly beasties. Including a whole carnival of weird and wonderful technological enhancements, this immensely customisable box can be built in so many different ways that it would be almost impossible to list them all. Including some trusty Skitarii infantry led by a Tech-Priest Manipulus, there are four units with two build options each – Sicarians, Serberys cavalry, Ptreraxii jump infantry, and a choice of either an Ironstrider Ballistarius or a Sydonian Dragoon. The possibilities are endless. It’s time to get a little bit spooky with the best valued box of the lot – the Ossiarch Bonereapers Praetorian Spearhead. This box by far has the largest discount of 41% average, on par with the 40K Battleforces. It has an eclectic mix of lots of infantry and big unit models, as well as cavalry – I can see this one being the most popular Sigmar box. Up next, we have the other launch faction – the Tyranids. This was a faction in dire need of a surgical facelift, and got one it did.

The Boyz in this set can be built with Sluggas or Shootas. Which you choose will come down to taste; we’d recommend mounting yours in the Trukk with some Sluggas and Choppas to make the most of their close-combat prowess.A stomping Deff Dread, which you can arm with lethal Dread Klaws, or load out with plenty of dakka. Although it’s a fantastic set of miniatures, they will only net you an average 33% discount overall – which still makes them the second highest savings made in the group.

Speed and precision are the name of the game, as most Aeldari units – from Aspect Warriors to Fire Prisms – can move fast and hit hard, but can’t weather much return fire. Aeldari armies are highly mobile, a specialised scalpel that can bring down a much more powerful opponent by careful application of incredible force. Then there’s the Crusade section, which is a cool way to grow and develop your army as you play games, as units earn experience and gain new skills and armaments. Tell epic stories of conflict and triumph as you blood a force of fresh troops and mould them into hardened veterans armed with legendary relics of war. He only talked about 1x Hearthguard in the video but then the discount doesn’t work and I think a second one is likelier than 2x Sagitaurs.) Astra Militarum 2023 Battleforce: Dis iZ a nOiCE BoX! It’s been heavy on the Ork release lately and here we have an equally impressive end of year reward. Appearing to be one of the highest value sets on this list. the set contains a Ton of Boyz, Gretchin and some standout vehicles.

Orks Combat Patrol

A Psychomancer cryptek leads the force, with a unit of 10 Necron Warriors and three Scarab Swarms making up the durable centre. The real killing work falls to a Lokhust Heavy Destroyer, three Ophydian Destroyers, five Flayed Ones, and two huge Canoptek Doomstalkers. Many of these units recently received the CORE keyword as part of the Balance Dataslate, and enjoy a new lease of life.” Not a bad starter force or an addition to an existing one. Standard Sisters and Sacresants, but the draw here are the 2 tanks. The Immolator is cool but nothing beats what GW have described as a “long-range, missile-launching pipe organ cum-temple” no, Seriously, they did. (cue childing giggling) The10th editiondatasheet for Ghazghkhull reinforces his role as the Prophet of the Waagh.‘Ghazghkhull’s Waaagh! Banner’ is the big icon carried Makari, and it’s a totem of Ghaz’s supremacy as an Ork warlord. The Plaguefester Warband is the definitive image of an unstoppable Death Guard army, with a Champion and Icon Bearer leading seven Plague Marines and three Deathshroud Terminators. Three Myphitic Blight-haulers and a Plagueburst Crawler cover their march, crushing resistance with the hellish firepower these war engines are feared for. To use Boyz well, you must get them across the field and into the enemy’s face intact.Boyz’ defensive capabilities stop at their respectable Toughness of 5. An armour save of 5+ leaves them fairly vulnerable to dedicated anti-infantry firepower.
