About this deal

The model that would later be used for Elizabeth II in the fourth series can be seen in this episode. In Australia, this VHS was released on Betamax in 1988 making it the final home media Betamax release. When "Whistles and Sneezes" begins, the chapter doesn't start at the very beginning. Instead, it starts on Gordon's line, "Why should Henry have a new shape?" It's a peep peep and a chuff chuff for all the Thomas the Tank Engine fans out there with 6 more adventures with Thomas and his friends plus 3 special holiday songs for you to learn! It's full steam ahead for Thomas, the little blue engine with the short stumpy funnel, short stumpy boiler and short stumpy dome.

Some copies of the "Best of Gordon Songs" cassette tape has a label error that reads "Thomas Gets Bumped Songs." When this episode was originally released on the Thomas Comes to Breakfast 1998 VHS in Canada, it had no narration and only included the music and sound effects. This was later corrected on 2000 Thomas Comes to Breakfast and Other Thomas Adventures VHS tapes released in Canada. Excerpts from Thomas the Tank Engine, The Magic House, Rainbow, The Wind in the Willows, Sooty and Co, Tots TV, Rosie and Jim, The Grand Old Duke of York and Topsy and Tim.Gordon Takes a Dip comes before Whistles and Sneezes, meaning that audiences may not know about "jammed whistles." Percy's Predicament - Daisy is difficult. Percy is annoyed and Toby tries to help the situation with surprising results.

It's a peep peep and a happy hurrah for Thomas the Tank Engine and his friends as they venture out on 6 exciting brand new adventures and three fantastic new songs. Including lots more action and adventure and of course lots of mischief from the little engines on the Island of Sodor. Guaranteed to keep children entertained over and over again! After a while, the express finally comes to a stop at Wellsworth Station. Thomas is very tired and feels very silly and exhausted. He is uncoupled from the train, has himself turned around on the turntable and moves into a siding where he has a long drink from the water tower. He then wearily puffs home, having learned not to act so cheeky towards Gordon again. The DVD was originally released exclusively as part of the Best of Collection DVD boxset in October 2003. It later was given an individual release in February 2004. The Starz release features different title cards and no nameboards. All episodes immediately start after the previous ends except for Gordon Takes a Dip which has a fade. |One Monday morning, Gordon is resting in a siding while noting to himself that being an important engine can sometimes be very tiring. Henry suddenly pulls up, rudely waking Gordon with his whistle and calling him names. Gordon is very cross, believing that an engine like him, who has never had an accident, should be respected. After Percy comes and asks Gordon if jammed whistles and burst safety valves count as accidents, Gordon replies that those things could happen to any engine, unlike Henry who came off the rails. When the series first aired in 1984, the main title fonts were shown in pink. Then, when they were shown individually in 1985, the colour of the title fonts were changed to a bright red, which was also used for the second series. Thomas and Percy come to the rescue, and Cranky is soon upright again and rescuing the engines from what remains of the shed. Cranky then mistakenly calls his rescuers "mites" and Percy - offended that Cranky has reverted to his insulting attitude - attempts to leave. Thomas warns him not to move as he's still attached to Cranky, but Percy accidentally pulls him down again.
