Her SD audition footage highlights her playing a character just as strong as she does in the actual episodes. Starting with the season's opening tease, there are plenty of puzzling twists and ominous foreshadowing. The episodes found on this Blu-ray set might have been strengthened by running fluidly with the final eight, but at least this set allows you to catch up and get refreshed prior to the August 11, 2013 premiere. The scene is a great tease for Jesse's current state of mind leading into the final eight episodes of season five.

From set design to costume design, learn about the subtle details that set the tone and mood for 'Breaking Bad. For season five, it's episode 505, which turns out was a logistical nightmare due to the desert conditions, the train – parked or moving – and technical difficulties. We watched Walt and Jesse begin working in the "superlab," an underground high-tech laboratory completely invisible to the outside world.The southwest colorization is still exaggerated and heavily saturated – especially in desert settings. The series explores how this fatal diagnosis transforms Walt from mild family man to a kingpin of the drug trade. The Complete Series comes in an awesome barrel-shaped package -- if you know the show, you know the significance -- which also includes a couple of fun items – a Los Pollos Hermanos apron and a special Breaking Bad “Challenge Coin” (check out the video above for our unboxing of the set). It’s worth noting, however, that it’s still more sturdy than Sony’s wide-release packaging, which is all cardboard. There are plenty of extremely memorable moments – for the good or bad of the characters – and it's completely entertaining through and through.
Breaking Bad: The Complete Series Blu-ray arrives in this collectible barrel, which houses all five seasons of the show's 62 episodes on 16 discs and over 55 hours of special features, including an all-new two-hour documentary that goes behind the scenes of filming the series' final eight episodes. There are so many juicy moments in the contained eight episodes, moments sure to make every fan of the series giggle with excitement, that I'm going to try my very best to keep the details vague for those of you who have not yet watched it. The first season has a slight digitally-processed look to it though, with a bit of unevenness to the color and detail, possibly due to limitations in HD scanning technology when the show was first finished in 2008. Season five doesn't feel like a complete season (which I why I'm assuming the cover art doesn't follow suit with the previous season releases by titling it 'The Complete Fifth Season'), but that doesn't mean that it isn't filled with greatness.
