When I saw Snoop had a cookbook coming out I was most definitely like this shizzle is going to be in my hizzle for rizzle, but I have to talk myself into almost every purchase so I hadn’t bought it yet.

I don't know what I was expecting but pigs in a blanket and garishly colored pages listing Snoop's favorite cereals wasn't it. As a cookbook, it's mediocre; while the focus is mainly simple comfort foods (Southern-inspired), there are some surprisingly complicated and decent recipes. So, like I said, this one starts with a roux (that’s one cup oil to one cup flour, whisked together on medium heat and then stirred every few minutes to prevent burning for 20-30 minutes for those who don’t know) and then a minced version of the “holy trinity” (but with red bell peppers rather than the standard green this go ‘round) added to complete the base . And of course, no party is complete without that Gin and Juice and other platinum ways to entertain.All we’re saying is, it’s kind of a weird branding choice to not even have a cannabutter recipein the Snoop Dogg cookbook. The Cat Butt Colouring and Activity Book pays homage to these delicate derrieres, with 45 line drawings of pert cat booties winking you in the face. One of the best, and not to mention easiest, ways to prepare yellow crookneck squash is to roast it in the oven. The Cat Butt Colouring and Activity Book Cats are meticulously cleanly animals, but they don't half love showing off their arses.

Though some confessed that they bought the piece as a gag gift to tease someone, it turned out to be a pleasant surprise and a very helpful kitchen guide.Tender orecchiette gets all dressed up for dinner with yellow squash, spinach, garlic, capers, and feta cheese. And it don’t stop…Snoop’s giving a taste of the high life with remixes on upper echelon fare such as Lobster Thermidor and Filet Mignon.
