About this deal

You're not a child: It's hard to recommend this controller to adults, unless you really like the petite form factor.

Controller for PS4™ - Jet Black DUALSHOCK®4 Wireless Controller for PS4™ - Jet Black

Can you see anything in those images? We can't see anything... Yes, Sony has launched a brand new camouflage controller for the PS5, complete with a cool little micro-pattern of the iconic PlayStation shapes.

The best part is the gold around the D-pad and face buttons. This sort of accent work is underused and seeing more controllers frame surfaces like this would be rad. A more daring designer would have gone a step farther and recolored the face buttons, which currently don't fit the rest of this controller's aesthetic at all. If you've got a little one or two running around, then the Hori Mini is perfectly suited for smaller hands.

To go with the new Rose Gold PS4 controller, Sony released a matching Rose Gold headset a few months later that had a Rose Gold metallic finish on the headband, with embossed PS Shapes on the inside. Is this just Sony being cheap? Surely it wouldn’t cost them much more to use the same moulds to make White/Red parts??? Taking things a step beyond red, Nova Pink lightens things up. It's a great colour that leans towards the hot pink side of the spectrum. Electronic Arts haven't done the best job of handling the Star Wars license exclusively, but recent releases and the improvement of Battlefront 2 have garnered optimism. I got the Alpine Green and it is my favorite one. I would also choose Sunset Orange, Berry Blue, 20th Anniversary Limited Edition, 500 Million Limited Edition and Crystal Blue - are some of these still being manufactured and sold today? The alpine green is my favorite. The white and green combination is always great, and it just looks class. You need a solid D-pad: The Razer Raiju's D-pad is easily its weakest element, which means some genres that rely heavily on it will feel less enjoyable to play. I love the sunset orange one but they were all sold out when I needed a new controller so I went with alpine green which actually looks better in person. Berry blue reminds me of no man's sky

Seems a bit of a 'cash cow' since most will probably elect for the red one which equals more sale profit to me. Now all be waiting to get my God of War controller early next month. I plan on giving my Starlight Blue and Cosmic Red to my son when he gets his PS5 Digital or the new PS5 iteration next spring. He wants to wait and save up his money. However, I'm thinking of getting it for him and his fiancée as a wedding present when he gets married next year, hopefully. Goku orange is my favourite, I have that one along with crystal white and the diamond dogs pad that came with my ps4John Sweeney, Art Director at Naughty Dog, said that he and the design team chose to focus on Ellie’s tattoo for the design of The Last of Us Part II, because fans were drawn to the tattoo when the game was first revealed. I still regret not getting it while it was still being manufactured but, I still had a working controller at the time and could not justify adding another. Sony PlayStation DualShock 4 Controller - Limited Edition God

In your search for pads, you may have read about chipped or modded controllers. These controllers are, technically, banned devices for PS4. In “pro” play situations it’s an automatic disqualification, and when playing online in shooters like Call of Duty, they carry an automatic ban if you’re caught using them. It has the light gray base that everyone associates with the original console, as well as the original PlayStation logo and pastel-colored sacred symbols. The nostalgia of this controller is off the charts and made it one of the most sought after controllers of the generation.Their major advantage over regular pads is the use of a “rapid-fire” chip that lets you map a button for the controller to automatically spam as you’re playing – meaning you can artificially boost your reaction times when playing against others. If you think the reward outweighs the risk, go for it – but our advice is to steer clear. Are third-party controllers compatible with all games?
