About this deal

As we continue to evolve we will add products based on the requirements of our supporters and the quality of the product itself. Can't find what you need ... let us know! I struggle with trying to brush my doodle. She wants to bite it! Both of our dogs, the doodle and the papillon mix hate brushes. Bonnie has chewed several, so I take them to get the full job. We’re in our 70’s so it’s much easier. Wish they would cooperate with me doing the brushing.

I had to do a rematch between the Chris Christensen Big G and Paw Brothers brushes, but after comparing the two the Chris Christensen brush was quite obviously the winning brush for detangling. It just glided through the hair effortlessly and there was no pulling or elbow grease. The Paw Brothers brush was good (to a lesser extent) but not as bad as the other two brushes. 7. Here we’re going to measure the weights of each brush. While the difference of a few ounces might seem negligible, the weight of the brush will really affect you in terms expending energy and fitness. So based solely on numbers, the winner for pin length is the Chris Christensen Big G, hands down! 2. Pin Softness and Pliability Designed with a super soft relaxed cushion and lightweight Beech Wood body with contoured handles to suit the needs of any brushing style or direction. First, I will say that the Show Tech and Artero brushes we’re just not great on Chloe’s hair. They were very snaggy and the resistance was pretty significant. The process was not smooth at all, and I felt like I really had to pull to get both brushes through Chloe’s hair. Many of our products are covered under the manufacturers’ guarantees and therefore we have little control over warranty product replacement/repairs. Although more on the pricier side, this brush is a great investment that’s going to last you for a long time The stainless steel bristles make brushing a comfortable, non-irritating practice. The handle is soft, allowing you to keep a good grip throughout brushing. This product is available in small, medium, and large sizes with moderate price points. Next we’re going to see how well each brush detangles and dematts. I didn’t properly brush Chloe in about a week so I could carry out this experiment, so she had some pretty good tangles. Dense coats won’t stand a chance with this brush! This product’s long, bent bristle design allows it to penetrate through to the root, removing dead hair and detangling along the way. The ergonomic handle is extra long to ensure your comfort when brushing through your pup’s coat.Where the Chris Christensen brush truly stands out is its very long, soft, polished pins, and its ability to effortlessly detangle Doodle hair. And it’s not even just me saying it’s a great brush. Tons of pro groomers and so Doodle owners swear by it, as well. I’d say the Artero brush collected the most, and the Show Tech brush collected the least, while the Paw Brothers and CC brushes collected about the same amount. The Artero is the winner for this category! 8. Price With regular use, you can keep your pup’s coat looking healthy and you will be preventing difficult and oftentimes painful tangles and knots. The handle of this brush is ergonomic so you can protect your hands as you work through your dog’s coat.

The ultimate showdown – Chris Christensen Big G vs Big K brush. If you’ve been eyeing either of the brushes, you might be wondering, which one should you choose? To help you decide, we’ve reviewed both brushes along with their pros and cons. Let’s get started! Chris Christensen Big G vs Big K Brush Comparison

The final category we’re going to be judging on is price. When we’re talking about cost, we’re basically considering a few things: Bent bristles – The bent bristles penetrate deeply to lift out dirt, dead skin, and loose hair. The bend also prevents injury to the skin from if too much pressure is applied. Consumable parts are not normally covered under a warranty. Consumable parts are defined as parts that degrade over time or use. For example clipper cables, carbon brushes etc. We cannot stress enough how daily brushing can drastically improve your dog’s hair and skin health. Daily brushing would be best, but if that’s not possible, aim for at least 4-5 times a week. Keep in mind that one expensive brush that lasts 5 or more years is going to cost less than a cheap brush that you have to replace every year.
