I would say the IE 600 has just a bit more body, impact and presence as a fully neutral tuned IEM. The IE 600 is not overly full and heavy, and everything is perfectly in control to keep things with their boundaries. It has just enough impact and push to keep things lively and exciting, yet controlled and precise. Also, you need to rotate them just so on the MMCX connection. The cable has a stiff memory hook around the ear, and it can fight with you, trying to pull them out. That cable!

I think Sennheiser did a great job with these 3 IEMs as they have 3 different tunings/signatures and one of these is sure to please your ears (and purse). For me personally the IE 900 is the very best for my spoiled ears, but I do can enjoy the IE 300 for movies and the IE 600 for on the go where you want a bit more body and don’t need the hyper detail.Finally, I will only evaluate the IE600 based on their performance, even though I will explain how it feels and seems physically and aesthetically. I got to hear these as part of the IE600 tour, and they're now on the way to the next listener. Thanks @ericpalonen for the loan. Opinions here are subjective, unvarnished and unquantified.

All comparisons were made using the Monolith THX AAA 887 amplifier and the RME ADI-2 DAC FS as a DAC.
