About this deal

Is Caroline Kepnes’ 'You' the next GONE GIRL? It'll take you inside a psychopath’s head... and might even make you like him. A mad and macabre love story." TimeOut Australia

Joe is particularly brutal in his murders of Henderson and Delilah. What did you think about the level of detail involved here? Joe feels that he is ultimately sparing them both from pain. Explain your thoughts on this rationalization. The plot of Hidden Bodies is occasionally preposterous; it sags a little in the middle as Joe’s relationship with Love develops; and Kepnes’s antihero gets away, literally and absurdly easily, with murder. But despite his dark proclivities, Joe is a horribly funny, strangely seductive narrator to spend time with – bitingly intelligent and simultaneously misanthropic and desperate for love. Stream It Or Skip It: 'Fargo' Season 5 On FX, Where Juno Temple Is A Minnesota Housewife Running From Her Past, And Jon Hamm Is The Person Chasing Her Hidden Bodies is a book that defies categorization and everyone connects with a different aspect. How did you read it? As a thriller, a satire, etc.? Hidden Bodies is a thriller novel by Caroline Kepnes, published in February 2016. [1] It is the sequel to her 2014 novel, You. It was loosely adapted in the second season and third season of the Netflix thriller series, You. [2] [3]

I’VE never given anyone a key. But this is what’s supposed to happen. Your life is supposed to expand. Your bed is supposed to have enough room for someone else and when that someone comes along, it’s your job to let her in. I seize my future. I pay extra to get ridiculous theme keys, pink and flowery. And when I place these pink metallic things in the palm of Amy’s hand, she kisses them. Joe is no stranger to hiding bodies. In the past ten years, this thirty-something has buried four of them, collateral damage in his quest for love. Now he’s heading west to Los Angeles, the city of second chances, determined to put his past behind him. The plot occasionally felt like rambling. Joe was less exciting to read about. So, while an entertaining commentary, this book just wasn't needed.

Joe does not succeed in murdering Forty Quinn. Do you think this is because, deep down, he ultimately really didn’t want to kill Love’s brother? Or do you think he was simply careless? And the woman who does kill Forty is named Julie Santos. Joe thinks of her as Saint Julie. What do you think about that? Both a tense story of a monster and a fascinating psychological study, the book dares you to empathize with a killer while keeping you guessing as to what will happen next. Barnes & Noble

Delilah’s death

This book did go slow in places but Kepnes writes so damn well that I couldn't put it down. You have to know where she is going with her stories. Even when I figured stuff out I still wanted more.
