Dio Brando, simply known as DIO later in the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure series, is an evil and cunning adversary featured prominently in “Part I: Phantom Blood” and “Part III: Stardust Crusaders.” Plagued by arrogance, immorality, charisma, and an insatiable thirst for power, Dio resents and openly rejects his humanity by transforming into a Vampire, which lends him dangerous new powers. He later joins the crusaders in an attempt to confront DIO, only to discover that the vampire's stand ability was too strong and immediately bailing out with the rest of the crusaders. He and Polnareff then begin chasing after DIO. However, Jotaro arrived too late, finding Joseph dying right in front of him while telling him to not be consumed by anger. But Jotaro proceeded to angrily charge at DIO anyway who began taunting him before their stands began pummeling each other. Eventually, the vampire stopped time and began taunting his opponent, only to be punched in his own stopped time. Later, after Emporio defeats Pucci and resets the universe once more, a young woman named Irene mentions her father to him when they meet. The Jotaro figure is popular for a number of reasons, many revolving around the popularity of Jotaro Kujo himself. Sure, he might be a bit of a bad boy, but he’s fiercely loving and loyal, as well. After all, he leaves his perfectly ordinary life to stop DIO and rescue his mother in Egypt. He’s also the first JoJo of the series to have a Stand at the time of his introduction – and the Star Platinum Stand is no joke! Jotaro: Stardust Crusaders Edition

In the meantime, Jotaro is being taken care of by doctors from the Speedwagon Foundation who watch over his slowly decaying body and experiment with his condition. The doctors discover among others that he still has instinctive memories of certain things, such as Jolyne and his hat. After Joseph Joestar failed to convince his grandson to get out of jail, he introduced Jotaro to his friend, Muhammad Avdol and his stand, Magician's Red. After a brief confrontation, the fortune teller was able to figure out that Jotaro is a Stand user. After the teenager decided to leave, Joseph decided to explain the introduction and origin of stands as well DIO's return. His return in Part III of the series also introduces his newest ability as a Stand User. His Stand, The World, is incredibly powerful physically and is also capable of stopping time. Both Dio and The World are formidable opponents to the Joestar party. Yūsuke Iseya in the live-action movie adaptation of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Diamond is Unbreakable. Jotaro and Polnareff's injuries were dealt with by the Speedwagon Foundation. Since DIO had taken much of Joseph's blood, Jotaro asked for a blood transfusion from DIO's body to Joseph's. After using Star Platinum to restart Joseph's heartbeat, the transfusion began. The shriveled-up body that Joseph had after losing so much blood began returning to his normal muscular figure and Joseph fully revived. Later, Jotaro and Joseph took the remainder of DIO's body outside, where it evaporated with the rising sun. They then gave one final moment of thought for Kakyoin, Iggy, and Avdol. [49]

While everyone decides to move away from the open space, Jotaro stops time with Star Platinum, managing to see the new Stand briefly. To Jotaro's dismay, time resumes before he could act. Anasui and the others pull Jotaro up a roof, and Anasui uses this moment to stupidly ask permission to marry Jolyne from her father, dumbfounding Jotaro to the point that he holds Jolyne in a protective manner away from him. Jotaro stops time and sees Pucci and his Stand Made in Heaven bending a palm tree to use it as a catapult, eventually thrown to the roof faster than Jotaro can react. knives, choker, broken sign, alternate hands with knives, alternate "grimacing" head, alternate "grinning" headThe Super Action Statue line consists of articulated figures, made of PVC, ABS, and nylon. Every figure includes a base, figure stand, and swappable hands, with many also including swappable heads, accessories, and text plates. Several figures released first or exclusively at Wonder Festival feature exclusive colorways, accessories, and text plates. The Super Action Statue line has inconsistent scaling among different parts of the series. For instance, characters from Phantom Blood and Battle Tendency tend to be larger compared to those from later parts such as Stone Ocean and Steel Ball Run. However, Stardust Crusaders and Diamond is Unbreakable, which were the first parts given figures, do not scale accurately with the figures from the first two parts. This results in characters from the earlier parts appearing smaller than they should in relation to characters from later parts. Additionally, characters from those parts given figures later on, such as Hol Horse, have their proportions aligned with the original scales of their respective parts, rather than conforming to the overall scale of the line. Super Action Statue are on average between 15-17cm. The palettes used for the figures are personally approved by Hirohiko Araki.

The next day, Iggy, who had just recovered from a serious battle against another enemy, and Kakyoin, who had finally been released from the hospital, met up with them. With all six now joined together once more, Iggy led them to the location of DIO's mansion. After graduating, Jotaro studied marine biology and eventually became a marine biologist renowned for his research on sharks and whales. He married an American woman and had a daughter named Jolyne in circa 1992.

According to Enrico Pucci, Jotaro also consulted DIO's Diary the same day, committing DIO's plan to reach Heaven to memory before burning down the notebook to erase the knowledge. [40]Jotaro, Koichi, and Rohan heard loud noises coming from down the street and went to investigate. They found Kira, bloody and wounded from his battle with Josuke (and Okuyasu). Kira attempted to invoke Bite the Dust once more on a female nurse, but Koichi uses Echoes Act 3 to weigh down Kira's hand and prevent him from pulling the trigger. Using the opportunity, Jotaro stopped time and punched Kira with Star Platinum. Kira was crushed by a nearby ambulance and was finally defeated. [63] [64]
