The app the pups use to draw may be a reference to Snapchat, particularly in the scene where Muffin turns Stripe into the gorillaman by using a filter just like a Snapchat filter. After a brief struggle, Muffin is able to wrestle the phone away from her dad's hands, and she is now able to continue her drawing; all the while. While spinning through the air (before hitting the swimming pool), the camera footage from Stripe's phone intermittently captures the balcony from which Muffin dropped the phone. Whether she’s exploring the park or splashing about in the pool, Bluey dog loves to play and learn ‒ especially alongside her very best friends. However, Muffin screams as loud as she can, stunning Stripe and allowing her to get away once again.

Socks' drawings change to accommodate the bigger picture a frame earlier before the screen switches layout. A chaotic chase between Stripe and Muffin ensues with everyone watching from their own screens, ending with Stripe’s phone in the pool. In the Disney distributed versions of this episode, when Muffin runs into a bathroom, the scene was originally cropped to hide Trixie sitting on the toilet in the background.
