Torevetchi: Released in Japan in March 2023 and in the USA in May 2023, this model is based on the anime and manga series Tokyo Revengers. Toy Story Tamagotchi: Released in Japan in June 2022 and in the USA in July 2022, this model is based on the animated film franchise Toy Story. At regular intervals, an enemy will appear on the screen. The enemy that appears is either a Shadow, a Dusk, or a Flood. When an enemy appears, the player must press the A button to repel them. Enemies cannot be repelled when Sora is asleep or tense. A second version, the Jujutsutchi 0, was released in Japan in March 2023 and in the USA in July 2023. This icon cannot be selected and lights up on its own when the Tamagotchi needs something - Hungry or Happy being completely empty, falling asleep and requiring the lights to be turned off, or making a false call and requiring discipline. If the user does not tend to their needs within 15 minutes, the icon will turn off and a care mistake will occur (unless the Tamagotchi was making a discipline call). If a Tamagotchi dies from neglect while the attention icon is on, it will remain lit on the death screen until a new egg appears. The Tamagotchi will not call for attention when it poops, nor if it gets ill.
On later models, special animations play at specified hours throughout the day, each inspired by the franchise the model is based on. These animations will stay on screen for three minutes before disappearing on their own. Pressing any button will end the animation, but in some cases may trigger an additional animation to play. The character line-up features Sora as well as appearances from a huge array of other characters as well. Throughout the day, various characters and events from the series will appear. Additionally, Bandai would go to experiment with other virtual pets. The Tamagotchi effect, how humans develop emotional attachments and reactions to artificial life, was named after Tamagotchi. A second version was released in Japan in April 2019, featuring the larger resolution used on later models and featuring new games, new characters, and special daily animations. A second version, the Driving School version, was released in Japan in February 2023, based on the show's second season. The official store listing for the Kingdom Hearts Tamagotchi shows a bunch of other characters like Kairi, Donald, Goofy, and more, as well as various different form changes for Sora. It's not clear exactly how to trigger any of these just yet, but the Tamagotchi is certainly stuffed with references.

Twistetchi: Released in Japan in June 2021, this model is based on the Disney mobile game Twisted-Wonderland. The user is tasked with studying magic while caring for a cat, gradually meeting and befriending other characters. A second version, the Hashira Gathering Version, was released in Japan in March 2021, in South Korea in April 2021, and in the USA in August 2021. It features new animations, a new demon, new games, and two new secret characters. Kamen Ridertchi: Released in Japan in December 2021 and in the USA in March 2022, this model is based on the television series Kamen Rider. The user is tasked with training a new Kamen Rider, with over 40 possible characters. And here’s a look at the two varieties of the Tamagotchis. Both feature familiar icons from the series and the game’s logo across the bottom. Pressing the A and C buttons simultaneously will disable or enable the sound, indicated by a unique beep. This can only be done on the main screen, and won't work if the Tamagotchi is dead or in the middle of a specific animation, such as pooping or dying.
Pekoratchi Set to be released in Japan in December 2023, this model is based on the hololive VTuber Usada Pekora. After their initial production and release between 1996 and 1998, replica units were released in Japan in 2017 to celebrate the brand's 20th anniversary. In 2018, the models were distributed globally, and have since been released seasonally with new shell designs.
