About this deal

The Pop pram features a one-motion fold, offering convenience for parents. Plus, this stroller features a built-in carry handle for simple folding and storage. Silver Cross is well known for their traditional (and expensive) carriage prams, but they also have a great range of lighter weight pushchairs at more purse-friendly prices. The Pop is their nippiest and most lightweight model, and takes the shape of an umbrella- fold stroller with a few key added extras. Silver Cross strollers were a hands-down winner. The Zest, Pop, Jet and Clic were all highly rated by our mums and dads, but it was the Zest that won overall.

With over 140 years’ experience, Silver Cross crafts beautiful, contemporary prams, nursery furniture, babywear and car seats. Buy from a trusted British brand. The seat reclines and has adjustable calf support for your growing child, plus a sun canopy that protects to UPF50+. It has an air panel and is extendable to either stop a rain shower soaking your infant, or to shield them from the rays. Parents love how light and easy it is to push around, and that you really can fold it up or down using just one hand. Baby Birds also have a range of SAFE organic mattresses to replace your existing Silver Cross mattress here This pram is suitable for a newborn baby as it has a lie-flat seat, but it can also work as a stroller for toddlers and preschoolers up to 22kg or around four years old, making it a fab option for any parent, and an investment.

Specifications

It’s perfect because it fits in my boot and leaves me space for some shopping. (My travel system took up the whole boot!) It’s easy to use out and about and feels sturdy. I love the fact it comes with a bumper bar so I know my baby is safe. The basket is big enough and the hood comes down further than my travel system pram's hood did." I can’t fault it! It’s lightweight and folds up well. My little boy loves it and often falls asleep in it. Mine also came with a footmuff and rain cover." We introduced new pushchair tests in 2015, 2018 and again in 2019. This model will not be directly comparable to those tested before October 2019. Weighing in at reasonably lightweight 7kg, the Pop is ideal to take on public transport, and can be easily collapsed and transported by the built-in carry strap.

The extendable UPF50+ hood on the Pop pushchair keeps your little one shaded on sunny days. They’ll also stay cool and dry with the zip-out air-flow mesh panel. The extremely wide and tall seat makes the Pop ideal for larger toddlers plus it’s ventilated too, so ideal for warmer weather. The seat can recline virtually flat, making it suitable for newborns, but you won’t get the same cosy feel as a carrycot pram, so investing in a footmuff is a must.

Practically, the Pop is suitable from birth as the seat reclines to lie fully flat, with an additional two recline positions as well as sitting upright for when your baby is able. You may also want to consider whether you prefer a world-facing seat, or parent-facing buggy, as some are fixed. There are designs that have a seat that gives both options. The Silver Cross prams normally comes complete with the rain cover – however Baby Birds offer spare rain covers for all Silver Cross models. Great features include a super-secure five–point harness, a cup holder, an extendable SPF50 hood and a roomy shopping basket. The Pop is also available in a fabulous range of seven colour ways, including everything from bright to neutrals, so you’ll always find a shade to suit. You also get a tailor-made raincover included in the price. A pram is designed for newborns, and needs to allow your baby to lie completely flat. If you’re moving on from your newborn baby’s pram, then you may be ready for a lightweight stroller or buggy.

One of the plus points of pushing a buggy or stroller is how light they are and how easy they are to move. But if you sometimes babywear while pushing your stroller, a sturdier option may be good for when you hang bags on the handles and don't want your buggy to tip over. It’s a pity that you don’t get the flexibility of other models. The Pop can’t parent-face or form a travel system, so we think it’s better for older babies and toddlers, and for occasional newborn use, maybe in tandem with a baby sling or carrier. Find out more about why we love these prams, buggies and strollers below. What should I look for when buying a pram, stroller or buggy?Price, weight and size all need to be thought about when looking at the options on the market, so that you buy the best buggy for you and your growing family. Practical for parents too, this baby pushchair features a handy under- seat basket with a 5kg capacity. Squidgy cushioned handles make it a comfortable pram for you, too. With a full lie-flat recline, adjustable calf support and deep-quilted seat, Pop offers a smooth and comfortable ride for baby and added peace of mind for parents. The full lie-flat seat means this stroller can be used from birth up to 22kg (approx. 4 years). The one-hand, recline lets you find the most comfortable position for your little one.
