The army of Saruman, ultimately consisting of Uruk-hai, Wild Men of Dunland, Orcs, and Half-orcs, was reinforced on the way to Hornburg, due to casualties in the Battles of the Fords of Isen. The army would arrive at the fortress at midnight on March 3. The Pirate Ship Ambush Lego set is perfect for any diehard Lord of the Rings fan. This set is modeled after the Corsairs ship from Return of the King, seen only briefly in both the standard and the extended editions of the movies. The set includes 8 minifigures: Aragorn, Gimli, Haldir, King Théoden, Berserker Uruk-hai and 3 Uruk-hai. Haldir, Berserker Uruk-Hai and King Théoden are exclusive to this set. The battle begins once the Uruk host of 10,000 has formed fully in front of the castle - an accidental bow shot by an old man named Aldor kills an Uruk at the front, followed by a volley of arrows from all defenders once the Uruks begin to charge forward. The events are similar to those in the book, as Uruk-hai pour over ladders on the Deeping Wall to be met with a brave but shifting defence by the Rohirrim; however, Legolas, Gimli, and Aragorn's roles are greatly expanded, and the device responsible for destroying the wall is revealed as a form of gunpowder. Once the wall is blown, the Uruk-hai pour into Helm's Deep through the breach.

This Lego set might be small, but it is uniquely pretty. If you don't have the space for a large set, this is a nice alternative. My collection has more unprinted colors: If you're willing to remove prints (I know, I'm a psychopath), there is a total of 25 monochrome pieces to collect. The easiest way to do this is, is by using nail-polish remover. Warning: Use it diluted. Start with at least a 1:10 dilution with water. Pure nail-polish remover will melt the plastic of the piece. At night, unseen by the Rohirrim, the Huorns slew all remaining Uruks and buried them in a hill later known as the Death Down. Most Lego sets are suited to play with from age 4 and up, because of the small parts they include. The special Duplo theme is suited for children aged 1,5 and up. The recommended age is always mentioned on the box. After the wall has be destroyed and you’ll down by the large opening, there is a dig spot to the right of the destroyed wall with the treasure in it.

Gimli sounds the horn of Helm Hammerhand as Théoden, Aragorn, and the remaining Rohirrim upon horses charge out of the keep, through the Hornburg and out its gates, breaking the front line of the host at the causeway. From a vantage point, Théoden and Aragorn see Gandalf arrive upon Shadowfax on a high hill in the east, and with him Éomer and the horsemen he has gathered, who collectively plunge into the valley towards the Hornburg. The Uruk host, which is still great in number, forms up a massive phalanx of spears to meet Gandalf and Éomer's charge from above. The sun rises over this high point and shines on the battlefield, blinding many of the Uruk-hai and breaking their cohesive formation, and as the newly arrived forces charge into them, causing the Uruks to break and flee. The theme started in 2009, and was discontinued in 2013 due to poor sales. The theme introduced 2 major new parts. First the 64776pat0001 - Die - 6 Sided Rubber Frame with Red Centre Studs. With this die, you can create any die you want, using different tiles. It's so iconic to the theme, it's even used as the logo.
