The Silva Mind Control Method is a book of methods that tells yo uhow to increase the utility of your brain. I want to talk about ESP, or extrasensory perception, as it is something that comes up in the program.

You do a little training for Theta level as well (although, in the newer format, I believe this is expanded somewhat from the course I took). In today's world, individuals are easily distracted by various things around them, and the brain works on different things simultaneously. In all it is a great logical book that has changed millions of lives already and may change yours too. It’s based on a successful method developed by José Silva that has been around since the 1960s, known as the Silva Method. I contacted Mindvalley and was advised I needed to go to the supplier of the Coaching Program for the program.I stopped after I felt like I got what I needed out of it, which was a foundation for my fledgling meditation practice. I think this book could give you some tools on how to tap into some secret depths of your mind to really make the most of your life and your place in it. It's more like a marketing brochure for the mindfulness classes presented by the author of this book. He ensures that promise by only providing glimpses of what will be available in-depth during one of the many seminars. The alpha level is linked to the right brain hemisphere about intuition, creativity and visual processes.

When individuals discover the strength of the mind, they gain greater control and authority over their lives. Embarking on this course I was unsure what I would really make of its framework for “mind empowerment”.Most are taught over several weeks with short daily lessons through video content and practical exercises. But it did give me some better tools for learning how to meditate that I thought were more useful than in some of the other books I've read on how to focus your mind and get into alpha, delta and theta states.

I wouldn’t say I was completely sold on everything I encountered within the course — particularly some of the ideas around healing others with consciousness. At the same time, I wasn’t sure what to make of concepts like extrasensory perception or energy healing, which do feature in this program.

The Silva Method adds confidence to all that individuals do and enables them to achieve their goals with passion and enthusiasm. José Silva learnt all that he presents in his Mind Control method in the course of working with his own children, years ago, to enable them to do well in school. Maybe those things had worked for others, but for me it all turned up a fat “0” in the bank account department.
