About this deal

Her trip to Europe was not very interesting and seemed like she spent most of that time drinking and partying with random people she met, combined in wallowing in self pity and being self absorbed. By the point I stopped reading, I really didn't like her very much. I particularly find it cringey how she talked about all her social media posts with inspirational quotes and apparently she got a ton of messages from people who felt moved by them and she kind of tried to make this a self help book and act like she knows what she's doing. I would not take life advice from someone who acted the way she did with Javier and his family. I'm going to assume the author ends up with him after all this or else he wouldn't have been such a big focus of the book. But I just don't care. There is probably a target audience for this book but I definitely don't fit that audience and would not recommend this book. First: this woman is delusional. She keeps saying she’s a famous actress but I had to google her and she barely scratches the surface of D movies. Just like book #1, there’s many MANY mentions to her celebrity outings, the fact that she “works in the industry”, and let’s not forget the countless glowing remarks from everyone in her life. It’s exhausting The timeline on her “writing the first book” is all over the place. First it starts with “I’m still writing it” then it jumps to “I can’t believe things aren’t working out with this guy - and it’s even worse cuz everyone loved him in book 1” and it’s like ma’am how was it possible for you to think that in that moment when in the next chapter you’re talking about how you’re still not done with the book..???

Eat, Pray, #FML focuses on the romantic European getaway she was supposed to experience with her new, post-marriage romance. However, only 48 hours before she was sent to embark, that man became the second to massively disappoint Stone. The only person worse than her is Javier. He literally professes his love for her and then ditches her within a month. They’re both flighty, superficial, ridiculous, immature people who cannot operate even the most basic of relationships. Maybe I’ve just been exposed to unnaturally fascinating people in my life, but I cannot find anything remotely enjoyable in any single character in this book. It’s a shame in my opinion because the story has a lot of potential for self-development and growth. She starts of describing what was truly an awful marriage and divorce. I have to say I admired her strength in the beginning, and I cheered her on when she met Javier and fell in love. It was once she started solo travelling, the book became immature, self-centred and honestly quite shallow. What does a woman do when her life has fallen apart and her heart has been ripped out and stepped on twice in two months? She goes on a wild adventure, makes some bad decisions, and does a sh*t load of soul searching. But most importantly? She finds out how to love . . . herself. Reading this book has absolutely inspired me. These are words of pure truth. To say I needed to read this is an understatement. I'm so thankful for this book and how it opened my eyes about myself and my relationships. I'm ready to see it on the big screen!"Essentially, it’s a diary about getting over heartbreak. It sounds like it was written by a teenager, and very little effort is put into describing anything besides how fat the author is getting, how the hot guys are who keep hitting on her, and how in love she is with her ex.

Who is Javier in Eat Pray #FML? Javier is ( supposedly, according to the internet) actor Ignacio Serricchio, which was super easy to find online (though obviously, I don’t know this for certain, this is just what I saw online, so this could be wrong). Gabrielle seems really immature, putting his trauma and grief about the loss of his brother out there so publically as a vehicle for her own journey. I would frankly be pissed if I were anyone associated with Gabrielle, as she seems remarkably indifferent to anyone else but herself. Stone’s class is listed at an affordable price, making it a great gift for a friend or loved one. I am also a big fan of humor books (Dave Barry is my all-time favorite humor writer, and Calvin and Hobbes and Bloom County are favorite comic strips). So when I saw the title of this book, I just had to give it a try. Stone details visiting delightful locations like Amsterdam and Italy, and learning to navigate as a single woman in the big world. She processes her heartbreak and starts to understand how to trust herself during this important journey. The well-known actor, Ignacio, was born on 19 April 1982 in Buenos Aires, Argentina, under the birth sign, Aries. Moreover, he belongs to mixed ethnicity and holds dual citizenship (Argentine - American). Please read the article until the end and know about his personal life. Current Relationship Status Of Ignacio Serricchio I don’t know who the author is, and I’m sure she’s not a bad person. But the book is so tone-deaf that I can’t fathom reading another one of her books. That being said, I wish her healing on her journey. Eat, Pray, #FML review conclusion And I have to stipulate that I just skimmed the second half. Turned it into a sort of drinking game:

The first few chapters hooked me. Who doesn’t love a women who filed for divorce before her husband gets home and watches him be served with them? Who doesn’t love that powerful female? Also, can we talk about that title? Really, “Eat Pray #FML”? I get that it’s a play on “Eat, Pray, Love”, but “FML” is such a dated term. So, it’s a cheeky parody of an old book mixed with an old, dated Internet slang reference. Cool. Very awkward. Modern memoirs are awkward as hell This creative force of nature used extraordinary grief and hard-won lessons from her real life to inspire her next creative adventure. Stone self-published the memoir Eat, Pray, #FML in 2019 to tell the story of discovering her husband’s affair, then being dumped soon after by a new love. Stone describes the manifestation techniques she uses to uncloud her mind and reach her dreams. As Stone has created a career in entertainment and publishing, she has a lot to share! Wow. So many thoughts for this book, and most of them are not good. I never read Eat, Pray, Love, so I cannot compare the two books. But if you are looking for a book that is very shallow in nature, no character development, not really even about self love, but mostly about a girl who struggles with a break up by going to Europe, partying all night, drinking all day every day, eating food, making out and sleeping with other people, but not being able to actually sleep, while complaining how fat she was going to get, then this book is for you! While Stone developed a career as a writer, actor, dancer, and director, her second act brought the most fame. Gabrielle Stone became a celebrity because of the twists and turns of her real life, which even the best scriptwriter couldn’t dream up. What does a woman do when her life has fallen apart and her heart has been ripped out and stepped on twice in two months? She goes on a wild adventure, makes some bad decisions, and does a sh*t load of soul searching. But most importantly? She finds out how to love…herself.

Wallace is now a motivational speaker, which also alludes to the future plans of her daughter, Gabrielle Stone. Growing up in the entertainment industry inspired Stone to enter this realm herself.

She shared her story through her book named Eat, Pray, #FML, which she published on 22 June 2019. After divorce with Ignacio, she met a man and fell madly in love. The man convinced her to join him for a month-long vacation in Italy but told her that he has to go by himself a couple of hours before getting on a plane. The entire universe revolves around me and literally every single thing that happens is because the Universe is trying to tell me what I should do with my love life. Example 1: She hears a song in Bali? It's because the Universe wants her to be with Tyler. She learns this ancient Hawaiian practice at a quiet retreat? It's pointing her to Tyler. Her best friend calls her while she is halfway across the world and their entire conversation revolves around... TYLER. She meets two people who happen to be the same ethnicity as Tyler and it is a SIGN. Example 2: She seems to think the audio engineer who recorded her audiobook had his life changed by her story and was just enamored with her charm and wit. It's giving "the waitress is flirting with me because she likes me." Example 3: Javier and Tyler show up to the same audition. That's it. The more I read the book, the more I hated the author. She seemed very shallow and obsessed with herself. She made multiple comments throughout the book about how all these men thought she was beautiful, incredible, cute. Like she needed her ego stroked? But she was still pining over Javier! I also felt like she was looking for sympathy. Each new person that she introduced to the book, she told them her story of her ex husband and Javier. Each person of course expressed sorrow yet told her how amazing she is and how much an idiot they both were. Like I said, she obviously had insecurities and needed reassurance constantly. But to continuously read the same thing over and over again was tiresome.
