About this deal

I’ve been using the Nanopresso for over 5 months now, I’d say I’ve made close to 500 espressos in that time and never experienced any issue with loss of pressure. That was until last week (over the Christmas period) I was making family members drinks and during that time I noticed that the initial pumps required to begin the extraction were increasing. Once you’ve preheated the device, dry all the parts and you’re ready to go. Here’s how to make espresso in the WACACO Nanopresso: This is mainly because the Picopresso doesn’t rely on a small pressurized basket, unlike most portable machines. Therefore, if you’re an espresso connoisseur with the expertise and experience to pull a great espresso shot, or if you’re happy to learn and don’t want to spend a lot of money on an espresso machine, it’s an excellent option. The Wacaco Picopresso costs more than many other portable espresso machines, including the brand’s older models. However, that extra expense is worth it for the thoughtfully designed, capable machine that pulls authentic espresso. The kit also includes an additional 8g coffee filter basket to give you a total of two 8g baskets and two 16g baskets. An improved tamp is included, making tamping easier and more consistent than ever with the Nanopresso.

Wacaco Nanopresso review | TechRadar

Over a month of use, we found this best for nomadic working and weekends away - in other words, all those times when you’re not sure if there’s going to be great espresso within easy reach. The Nanopresso produces 18 bars of pressure and creates a perfect cafe quality crema with rich flavor, so enjoy! We strive to ensure that your delivery arrives safely to you, but we understand that sometimes accidents happen outside of our control. Now you can pull two shots in one go instead of just a single - all while maintaining the full 18 bars of pressure that the Nanopresso is famous for. In look, price, and experience, the Nanopresso couldn’t be further than the top of the range espresso machines we’ve reviewed. And yet the taste is almost on par. It is more of a faff, it does involve boiling water and finding a flat spot if you’re outside, but the end result is seriously impressive. All in all, I was really impressed during my hands on WACACO Nanopresso review. So much so that this little coffee maker will now be accompanying me whenever I’m on the road. WACACO Nanopresso Cleaning Nevertheless, that pressurized portafilter is also the reason that the espresso the Nanopresso produces won’t be as good as the Picopresso.

Wacaco Nanopresso Barista Kit – Redber Coffee

Finally, the Nanopresso is less expensive than the Picopresso. However, if you want to brew double shots, the cost of the Barista Kit to do this will significantly reduce those savings. Okay, now we’re talking. With the WACACO Picopresso the manufacturer has seriously raised its game by producing a device that’ll appeal to coffee professionals. I should know – I really want one of these. The Wacaco story started with a bad cup of coffee. In fact, it started with a truly terrible cup of coffee. The Nanopresso water reservoir has a 2.7 ounce (80 milliliter) capacity, which is more than enough for making espresso. I really like the fact that the included espresso cup seamlessly fits onto the water tank – it’s a great example of efficient, space saving design. How to Use the WACACO Nanopresso

The Wacaco Nanopresso comes fully assembled, so no setup time is required—a major perk compared to the many coffee makers that take several minutes to put together. Design: Sturdy, compact, and travel-friendly The first few pumps will build up pressure inside the Nanopresso, but you’ll soon see coffee starting to make its way into your cup. After around 20 to 30 pumps, you should have a perfectly extracted espresso. As I already mentioned, I was prepared to struggle with the Nanopresso at first. However, I got great results on the first try! I decided to use a medium roast espresso blend from one of my favorite independent roasters. I’m really familiar with this coffee and how it tastes from an espresso machine. Smaller, Lighter - Takes less space and weighs less than previous models, making espresso more portable than ever. The Flair Neo is a beginner-friendly lever espresso machine in a similar price range as the Picopresso. It uses a pressurized basket that ensures that you’ll get decent espresso regardless of your grind size. All of the accessories fit inside the unit, making it durable, compact, and the size of the original Nanopresso. Carrying Case - All accessories fit neatly into a travel-ready container the same size of the original Nanopresso by fitting the water tank, adapter ring and outlet head together. This product includes: The brewing process is friendly to espresso newcomers and veterans alike. Simply press the pumping knob a few times and you’ll generate up to 18 bars of pressure - enough pressure to rival expensive commercial machines.

Wacaco | Nanopresso Barista Kit | Double Shot Kit | WildBounds

We love the Nanopresso, and Wacaco has done a ground-breaking espresso maker again with the Picopresso. The coffee this little device produces is simply beautiful, while the well-thought-out design and excellent accessories make using the machine a pleasure. If you’ve never used an outdoor espresso maker before, it takes a bit of time to work out what each component is for, so this is definitely not one to try for the first time at 7am on a weekday morning, but it’s great for taking high quality espresso with you no matter where you're going. The Staresso Portable Espresso Machine is a little heavier and bulkier than the Nanopresso, but it’s still very portable and easy to use. Plus, the Staresso comes with a pretty little espresso glass which is always going to win points from me. Take your portable espresso game to the next level with the Nanopresso Barista Kit. This accessory bundle for the Wacaco Nanopresso enables you to pull full double shots, gives you extra coffee filter baskets for rapid shot pulling, and puts it all in a travel-ready container. Extended Water Tank - Raises the water limit from 80ml to 140ml to enable you to pull double shots. The WACACO Minipresso was the manufacturer’s first portable espresso maker, supposedly invented after the company founder suffered through one disappointing espresso too many while traveling. However, what really gets me pumped (pun fully intended) is the fact that the Nanopresso is capable of reaching up to 18 bars of pressure without the need for batteries or electricity. That far exceeds the pressure requirements for “true” espresso, so I was really interested to taste the results. Okay, okay I was edge-of-my-seat excited to taste the results! WACACO Nanopresso First Impressions If you’re on the road a lot, studying in libraries or merely changing offices regularly throughout the day, the Nanopresso was a neat gadget that’s used with minimal fuss. All you need is access to hot water and some kind of stable surface to set everything up.
