Docking half a star as I was a little confused at times but definitely continuing on with this messed up series! The Horsemen seem to be the only entities in the world (Devil or otherwise) who still remember the names of the Devils devoured by Chainsaw Man, such as the Nuclear Weapons Devil, the World War II Devil, the Nazi Devil, and others. Denji and Power take lessons on tactical teamwork while Aki seeks strength from more sinister sources. The War Devil can turn anything she believes is "hers" (her property) into her weapons, from objects to lifeforms. The ringed eye design is not solely indicative of the Horsemen, however: the Fox Devil and Future Devil are prime examples of other Devils having such an eye design.Manga is original and I only bought it to check the artwork as people were saying manga is much brutal and uncensored than the anime. Makima is revealed to be alive and she uses her power to remotely dispense of anyone standing in their way, thus saving Denji after he had to “split” (ok, bad pun. Though seeming less overtly extreme in her attitudes towards humanity, Nayuta has still come to view Denji as her property [53] and has, ultimately, admitted that she would not mind killing humans, believing that killing was fine for any Devil to do since it comes naturally to them and makes them feel alive.
