About this deal

It’s like those Dutch still life paintings where the fruit looks bright at first glance, but when you look closer some is showing hints of decay and there’s a fly or two. I dislike this perfume for myself but it might be better on others as i know its a very popular perfume. To be fair, I do think it smells better on the skin than it does in the bottle, and it has a chance to warm up. Again, it's really well-blended, others with better cultivated noses might pick out the notes better but I get one distinct, unified, lovely scent. Picture a girl who eats flowers like you eat popcorn to a movie, flower after flower, and then she eats so much she falls asleep and she's a mouth breather.

and he was like "oh because my ex's all wore it too" and in that moment I realized it was the most basic B scent and I don't want to be a reminder of this man's exs lol. Marc Jacobs Daisy Spring is an unexpected oriental fragrance, very different to what we have come to expect from the Daisy perfumes. Very floral obviously, but not shallow like some other floral fragrances in that it has a fruity, young, essence to it.

I think a large part of why I love this is, yes, for the nostalgia and memories it evokes, but it is also just a really nice, inoffensive, “safe” fragrance. Reminiscent of Marc Jacob's Perfect but definitely creamier, I think from the gardenia note, where Perfect has a peppery quality.

I could see this being used after the shower at the gym, or simply just to freshen up on those days when it's just too hot out. on my skin it's completely different, i don't get any fruity notes at all, the powdery floral is all i smell on me. I prefer sweeter and moodier fragrances like Alien and Good Girl, and nostalgia isn't a factor for me (even though I'm a Millennial!I joined a fragrance club at my favorite online discounter (my primary dealer, you might say), and Daisy EDT was my first selection, a travel-size of the original Daisy EDT, which I am given to understand is quite basic but which I suspected I would like, on the basis of the parfumier, Morillas, and the notes (all my floral fave raves, plus some fruit that I felt cautiously optimistic about). This is just a basic, but a beautiful and interesting one, this is clean and simple, but far from a body spray or a boring generic shower gel scent. This article explains the difference between them all and links to where you can get them, including the discontinued ones. It smells like a hug from a person who just got dressed after the shower and who has a very nice laundry detergent or fabric softener. The main note is cardamon which is a slightly spicy note, and combined with a rosewood and rose scent this creates a perfume I never would have expected from a Marc Jacobs Daisy.
