About this deal

Tamaddon is currently preparing to star as Roxie Hart in the musical Chicago as it embarks on a national tour next month.

I laughed and cried my way through this book and ultimately I now feel a little bit more confident that I won't actually k*ll myself. The book is a difficult read and Joe talks through his life from one sh*tty moment to the next but he's made me feel less alone in my struggles and by far he's given the most practical and actionable advice on preventing su!c!de I've ever heard. This is because he recognises the difference between living with su!c!dal thoughts on a daily basis as opposed to the less nuanced, more reactionary portrayal and understanding of su!c!de that currently pervades media. Well, we talked about getting a rabbit and that’s quite long term, because we haven’t got a garden yet!” says Houseman.Nowadays when I wake up in the morning the only goal I set myself is to finish that day the same way I started it, in a bed, knowing I’ll see tomorrow. Even if today isn’t what I needed or wanted or expected, if I can just get through today, tonight I’ll have another chance at tomorrow. Without knowing who, where or how you are, the fact you’re reading an article about hope tells me 3 things about you. Thing I know about you because you’re reading an article about hope number one Life is just so exhausting, he says, that there is not a moment when he is unaware of himself. Has he never felt inner calm? Actually, yes, there was one day, recently. Former Coronation Street actress Hayley Tamaddon has spoken out about her relationship with ex- Hollyoaks star Joe Tracini, describing him as her "soulmate".

This book is incredibly honest, and I know it cannot have been easy to write. But it is so beneficial and I know that this book will save many people's lives. The book is a real rollercoaster ride of emotions, echoing the life of Tracini himself. Cinderella is a record breaker for Wolverhampton's Grand Theatre". Express & Star. 4 December 2014 . Retrieved 8 June 2015. He tries to explain what your life is like when you essentially have a brain that's trying to kill you every day.' Writing this book has been the hardest thing I’ve ever done. It had to be dragged into the world, with my condition telling me that every single word, sentence and chapter was terrible and would make strangers walk up to me in the street and punch me in the face.

That being said, I can honestly say, that this is one of the most raw and honest books I have ever read. To see Joes life, soul and mistakes laid out on paper really takes willpower and strength. For me, the reason that I think this book is so impacting and moving is because he doesn’t write this out of a place of being ‘fixed’ or better’ but, as he says a number of time, he’s still broken and willing to give us an insight into that brokenness. The thing that I think I liked most (if that’s that right word to use) is making people see that just because you’ve been fixed once, it’s okay to break against, it’s not a once fixed always fixed kind of illness. THIS Morning viewers were left in tears today when former Hollyoaks star Joe Tracini opened up about a health battle. Of course, you’re going to worry about the one you love and how it hurts everytime you’ve got to leave. But if you can learn to talk about the hatred that you feel sometimes there’s no limit to the things you can achieve.’ Get the latest celebrity gossip and telly news sent straight to your inbox. So I wrote this book to save my life.

Review: Cinderella, York Barbican, until December 30". The Press (York). 26 December 2012 . Retrieved 8 June 2015.In one video, Tracini sings a song about the erectile dysfunction caused by his BPD; in another, he wears a snorkel and a thong to protect himself from Covid-19; elsewhere, he chats to Miriam Margolyes while she is chomping on a raw onion to ensure he keeps his social distance. Tracini is fascinated with language and wordplay. Why are bees’ knees so special, he asks; he has never even seen a pair. On another occasion, he breaks down the word hopeless – it does not mean he has no hope, just that he has less hope than others. At one point, he says he always feels empty – as hollow as a chocolate Father Christmas.

I'm a big fan of Joe Tracini, so I was keen to read this book as soon as it was released. It was an enjoyable and interesting book. Joe's likability and humour that you can see on TV come across in the book, and I enjoyed the autobiographical element of hearing about Joe's life. You have to buy this book. I mean it. It's very funny and sad and utterly true. It's a life-saver. And Joe Tracini is a magician. He wins in the end. And so will you * Miriam Margolyes * Hollyoaks star, mental health campaigner and all-round legend Joe Tracini has announced he’s written a book titled ‘Ten Things I Hate About Me’. I’m not saying I don’t understand that thought process, because I really do. How do you believe something you can’t see and know nothing about? I get it.I feel that BPD is often a dirty word in the mental health world, but to see the realness and power that It holds over someone’s life is a real eye opener and I’m so glad, however hard it must have been to write, it is out there in public. Joes story is far from pretty and very heartbreaking at times and the reason behind him writing this book is one of pure honestly. Not only is this book moving but I feel it will be educational not only for those without the illness, but for those with it to know that it’s okay to feel these things. Nicest man in showbiz". Cornish Guardian. Northcliffe Media. 21 July 2011. Archived from the original on 7 October 2012 . Retrieved 13 August 2011. It is clear that as much as Joe delights most of us, he very rarely feels that way about himself, due to his diagnosis of BPD and his constant war with a mental health condition that is trying to kill him by getting him to kill himself. At the end of the book he says in a typically self-deprecating way: “hopefully this book makes you more able to see what’s happening in someone else’s brain and feel less alone with what’s happening in yours.” Cinderella, The Hawth Theatre, Crawley, until Jan 3".
