Hello, this is my first post here and I am wondering if anyone has any insight on the better option for my AT95e stylus replacement. It has a standard half inch mount, but the nuts are smaller than on the K9, and I didn't have a spanner. I had the performance of that reference setup in the back of my head when I did the reviews and comparisons. By increasing the surface area contact and spreading the load, the stylus’ finer profile also does less damage to your precious vinyl collection. On the contrary, it is actually very nicely balanced, with the way the different frequency bands hang together being a big part of its appeal.It still has an ellipitical stylus, but unlike the bonded ones on the VM95E and the AT95E, it's a nude ellipitical.

I did my testing using the Lacinato ABX audio testing software, which is free to use, listening via Audio Technica ATH-M50 closed-back headphones. The VM95ML is stunning and an absolute bargain - the number of friends and colleagues using one is growing - absolutely no sibilance and IGD.Watching' the stylus in the groove, and even with the Shure's dynamic stabiliser not in use, the M97xE 'looked' more settled and stable, whereas the AT95E looked a little 'wobbly and shaky' (not very scientific, I know).
