About this deal

Even when aged in neutral steel, Dorda notes that vodka will still undergo significant changes over time:

After Three Decades, Chopin Vodka Is Still Working To Change

Chopin also recently launched a Wheat vodka version (Brown Label) in Poland which I will get my hands on this weekend, can’t wait to test it! In a recent martini with olives, Chopin impressed me with its incredibly smooth drinkability and minimal burn on swallowing. However, it had little flavor to enhance the martini, and left a lingering mildly spicy and bitter aftertaste after swallowing. Overall, in a martini, it was too bland for my taste, though it would probably be a very nice shooter due to its amazing smoothness. I suppose that it reminds me of a smoother version of Ketel One. At this point, I would give it 4 stars, and place it seventh just behind Svedka and before Ketel One in terms of its ranking as a martini vodka.Burrito Fiestero Mezcal hails from the mountain region of Durango, Mexico. It is family-run and produced with passion and dedication to the local community, in harmony with the environment.

The Chopin Vintage Vault contains the oldest premium vodka in the world – a vintage potato vodka from the brand’s first release in 1993 that has been maturing at the distillery in Poland for the last three decades. According to Dorda, the vodka has been aged in neutral steel, so it retains its crystal clear character.Passion crafts perfection in the five expressions of liqueurs debuting from the makers of Chopin Vodka. Like our vodkas, we take great care in each step of the process including the natural ingredients that go into every bottle. In my opinion, this is by far the smoothest vodka for martinis. My favorite to enjoy Chopin is chilled straight up with blue cheese stuffed olives and a dash of olive juice. Give it a try and let me know what you think. Mezcal Burrito Fiestero®, Señor Maguey®, orange liqueur, grapefruit, pineapple and lime juice are added into a shaker with ice. I am really curious to try the rye version of Chopin. If it is as smooth as their famous potato vodka, but adds a little more flavor like Sobieski rye vodka, this could become one of my.favorite martini vodkas. I tried this recently, as I found some heavily discounted 375mL bottles. I tried it slightly cooled and even tested it head on versus Blue Ice, Sobieski, and Belvedere. I like it most as a shooter. I found it had a slight flavor that made it unsuitable for mixing with Code Red. My friend had a similar experience with Diet Mountain Dew, which he said was just funky. I think it would mix well with a Bloody Mary or other non-sweet drink. OJ mixed OK. It seemed generally smooth and not too bitter on the aftertaste.

Chopin Founder Tad Dorda Is Still Redefining After 30 Years, Chopin Founder Tad Dorda Is Still Redefining

Dorda: I know it's trendy nowadays for celebrities to get involved with products, but it's usually for two reasons. Either you pay them, or they think they will make a bunch of money because the product is hot. I found out that Vera loved Chopin Potato and drank it for years; she didn't just start liking it for a campaign. So, when we met, I suggested that maybe we make something together out of our shared passion for potato vodka.Whisk together tomato juice, Chopin Wheat Vodka, orange and lemon juices, horseradish and hot sauce in a large pitcher. Put the ice cubes in the shaker with Koch El Mezcal, peach puree, and hibiscus and strawberry concentrate. Señor Sotol is named after a legendary folklore hero and his unrelenting reputation. His skills as a distillate craftsman and his knowledge of the Chihuahua desert allowed him to traffic the best quality sotol along the roads of northern Mexico. Over time, Señor Sotol became the most important smuggler in the region during the prohibition period until its legalization in 1991. Overall, I think it’s great for the price. Highly recomended. My favorite is still Ketel One (in that price range) although I always shoot it but for what you pay Chopin is up there.
