What a shame, as they include 3 diverse Chao figures! A NiGHTS Chao, a neutral Chao, and a neutral run. They even appear to have animal parts! The origin of this image is unknown, and it seems to be the only image of this set available. I'm confident more must exist, hopefully in better quality so we can really take a look at the level of detail. Didn’t the last one in this series (The Mario Edition, btw) came out in 2017? Honestly I must be the one person around like this, but I like traditional Monopoly. I really do. On the rare occasions I actually succeed in talking people into playing it with me, we usually have a lot of fun. I used to love playing with my parents and grandparents. My father had the Ford Mustang edition and we played many times. I had the base game. I always wanted the old Star Wars one based on the original movies that someone I knew in school had, but by that point it was old and collectors had driven the price through the roof... Set a time limit to determine the winner (optional). If you want a faster game, try setting a timer for 1 or 2 hours. When the timer goes off, each player counts their total amount of money, the printed prices of all their unmortgaged properties, half the prices of all their mortgaged properties, and the printed prices of all houses and hotels. It gets a bad rap that it doesn't deserve. This is an awesome Mug showing off loads of different Chao! The first time Sega have used Chao other than Neutral Chao on their merchandise besides the odd NiGHTS Chao. Cheese comes bundled with Eggman as a little keychain! Curiously, it would seem as if only some were given the red bowtie and smiley mouth. Others just look like regular neutral chao. What's going on here? It's possible the decision to make the chao resemble Cheese was an idea they had after the initial release. This is a chao of unknown origin, but I’ve seen him come up a few times over the years. Potentially a bootleg. Though maybe SA1’s neutral Chao got a lower-budget re-release? He's made of very shiny fabric.
Each monopoly seems to be Act 1 and Act 2 of a zone. For example, the first monopoly is Speed Highway Act 1 and Speed Highway Act 2. I can also make out Chemical Plant, Sky Sanctuary... the others are hard to see. The last pair is Planet Wisp.Also, people like to use a bunch of broken houserules that screw up the game economy. Which makes the game virtually unplayable, and can be impossible to finish in a reasonable time. Not to mention, they forget the property auction rule. Which fills the board up faster. The vast majority of people I played it with were just taught to play it wrong. Finally, Toy Island also produced a set of gels pens, including a neutral Chao topper (probably the same one as above). HobbitGamer look good? That's impossible. Plus sonic-themed monopoly has been available for a long time, I'd praise them for actually trying to add something new this time around.
