Specifications

Man-O-War, also called Man O' War or Norvagen Destroyer, is the Norvagen's battle ship. It is the second biggest set in the Krystal Wars series. It comes with 1 Dragon named Midgaard. This set comes with 12 Warriors in total, 9 Norvagen and 3 Draigar. It also contains 12 shields, 16 weapons, 2 cannons, a jail and a Krystal. While the "Norvagen Olsef" figure from the Portal of Fire set depicts Olsef in green-colored armour, the "Fyren Olsef" figure from the Fire Storm Fortress set depicts him wearing red-colored Fyren armour. The canonicity of "Fyren Olsef" in the Dragons lore is unknown, though it still represents Dev's father all the same. One of the storage boxes contains nuffing but dragons. I didn't realise that MB made so many different dragons over the years. I had a few of the older series hard plastic dragons already which are a bit naff looking, but the later dragons made from softer and more flexible plastics are waaaay better. Some of them would look just fine if they were used for Warhammer Fantasy Battles with the Shadow Dragon GRYNDEL from the Ramparts of Ryousan set being the best of the lot. It's the only one to have a flexible wire skeleton which allows it to be realistically posed. If I was still playing Warhammer I'd be delighted to field it in all its two foot long glory in my Elf Army. The Norvagen appear to be inspired or influenced by traditional Viking or Nordic culture. This can be seen by the fact that their name, Norvagen, is a combination and corruption of the words "North"/"Nord" and "Dragon"; or, more distantly, the words "North"/"Nord"/"Norse" and "Viking." In addition to these I have parts for some sort of large ice mountain set that I don't have the book for and two very large ship sets that are also without books. One is in wood grain brown and I think is from the Man-O-War set, - the other is mostly white and I haven't a clue which set it's from.

Vile, the Wind Sprinter Dragon: A member of a species of rowdy dragons that use wind currents for impressive aerial maneuvers. Targon, the Mercury Armour Dragon: Dev's dragon companion, and one of the last remaining dragons in the human world by the end of the Draigar-Norvagen war. Killed by the Shadow Dragons, but resurrected as a Light Dragon. The only thing which is a bit annoying is that the two headed dragon from the Iron Raiders Sea Assault set seems to be missing. It's one of the older hard plastic dragons, but I'd still like to have one of them in the collection. After centuries of war, Padraig, the Dragon Slayer, slayed the evil Dragon Eironchard at Fire Mountain. He then united the two armies to form the Draigar. Norvagen marauders were invading from the east, and with their now combined strength, the Draigar defended their coastlines from this new threat. Frequently Asked Questions about Mega Bloks set 9895 Dragons Man-o-War

As a kingdom of seafarers, the Norvagen were most well-known for their expertise in shipbuilding and naval warfare, specializations that gave them an advantage at sea. During the Krystal Wars, they boasted a powerful navy consisting of massive Men 'O War that served both as warships and as sea-based transport craft. This knowledge of shipbuilding and naval warfare would be incorporated by the Fyren, itself formed partially by Norvagen warriors, which enabled them to have their own naval force of Sea Phoenix warships. Even after the Draigar-Norvagen war, the Norvagen continued to possess a strong navy of Men O' War, alongside the more contemporary Norvagen Destroyer model. The Norvagen forces take to the seas in the massive MAN-O-WAR. Unfurl the sails and join the search for the magical Crystals of Power! The Norvagen, now commanded by King Olsef, marched to what was intended to be a climactic battle against the Draigar. However, Xenoz himself intervened and sent his Ice Vorgan allies against them, eventually revealing his traitorous nature. This spurred the Norvagen to join forces with the Draigar to fight against Xenoz. Olsef's son Prince Dev joined Princess Kyra of the Draigar and led the Fyren army, comprised of warriors from both kingdoms. With aid from the Dragon King Thoron, Xenoz and his forces were defeated, and the Norvagen officially made peace with the Draigar and ended their war.

The Norvagen symbol featured a side profile of a sea dragon's head. During the Krystal Wars, the Norvagen primarily flew a blue banner with a gold Norvagen symbol, though dark red and yellow variants existed as well. I'm really going to have to do something about figuring out rules for battles at sea (rivers, lakes & etc) as I'm starting to amass a fair collection of boats and ships these days. Released in 2003, the Man O' War is the Norvagen themed set of the Krystal Wars series, featuring a massive warship ready to invade the Draigar lands. It contains 250 pieces, 9 Norvagen warriors and 3 Draigar warriors, alongside the dragon Midgaard and one of the Krystals of Power. It is one of the few sets to not contain warriors from all three factions The Dragons live in a special realm known as Dragon World. The Dragons also live in the Human World. They have the ability to use Krystals Of Power with the most powerful being the Aurathon Krystal used by the Dragon King, Thoron. There are many different types of Dragons, such as two-headed Dragons, Sea Dragons, Swamp Dragons, and Plasma Dragons. Rendwrought: A Norvagen warrior with defensive strategies who took part in the battle at the Ramparts of Ryousan.Dragons Universe is the series that came after the original Dragons series was discontinued by Mega Bloks.
