This receptor binding triggers a cascade of biochemical reactions within the target cell, thereby affecting the rate of protein synthesis. Benacort Nasal Spray is a highly effective steroidal nasal spray that is suitable for adults over the age of 18 years to prevent and suppress sneezing, nasal congestion and an itchy, runny nose caused by hayfever. If symptoms persist or are not adequately controlled after 7 days of treatment patients should consult their doctor or pharmacist. They have severe or frequent nose bleeds, recent nose ulcers or nose surgery or a nose injury that has not healed.

At therapeutic doses of this medicine no effects on the breast-fed infant are anticipated since maternal systemic exposure after intranasal administration is low, so minimal exposure to intranasal budesonide in breast-fed infants is expected. The nasal congestion can vary from patient to patient, some people may has trouble breathing whereas others don’t experience impact on their day to day lives. Benacort Antihistamines and other histamines are used to relieve symptoms of hay fever, hives and reactions to insect stings. Upon GR activation, there is a decrease in the production of cytokines and other inflammatory mediators such as kinins, histamine and platelet activating factor.Benacort Nasal Spray is available without a prescription, so it can be purchased without a doctor's approval. Regular use of Benacort which contains Budesonide a corticosteroid, can reduce inflammation in the nose and help prevent nasal-based allergy symptoms. Also contains Disodium Edetate, Microcrystalline Cellulose (E460), Carboxymethyl-Cellulose Sodium (E466), Glucose Anhydrous, Hydrochloric Acid, Polysorbate 80 (E433), Purified Water and the Preservative Potassium Sorbate (E202). It is an anti-inflammatory medicine that you spray into your nose which works against major hay fever symptoms, for continuous relief day and night. Benacort 64 Micrograms Nasal Spray contains the ingredient budesonide, with each spray containing 64 micrograms of budesonide. Our pharmacy is licensed and regulated by the Medical and Healthcare Products (MHRA) and the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).The half-life of unchanged budesonide following both inhalation and intravenous administration averages between 2 to 4 hours. The bottle should then be held upright and the nozzle pumped up and down several times (5-10 times) spraying into the air, until an even mist is seen. Available clinical experience shows no indication that budesonide or other glucocorticosteroids induce brain gliomas or primary heptocellular neoplasms in man. Benacort is used to treat the symptoms of allergies that are caused by pollen, including sneezing, runny, itchy or blocked nose. Just because a side effect is stated here doesn't mean that all people using this medicine will experience that or any side effect.

This nasal spray is used to treat adults with inflammation in the nose caused by an allergy to pollen (hayfever). These effects are much less likely to occur than with oral corticosteroids and may vary in individual patients and between different corticosteroid preparations. The inhibition of T lymphocytes and cytokine production reduce the recruitment and influx of circulating eosinophils, macrophages and basophils into the nasal epithelium.
