About this deal

A: Yes, the speakers will work. But, keep in mind the RP-Hub1 HD Control Center is not the newest transmission technology on the market and not all features may be compatible. The most important speakers in your system are the two in the front left and right. That’s where you’ll get the bulk of the audio from music and sound effects. I was hoping to get some receiver recommendations and insight on what I should expect for the satellites. First time HT Buyer. When I built my home, I set up the Family Room with smurf pipe and drop boxes all leading to a built-in HT cabinet. I've planned for some time to kit this out, but have just procrastinated it for too long.

And, yes, they are small. The satellites measure just 19cm high and 11cm wide, while the larger centre is still just 11cm high and 27cm wide. They have a reasonable amount of heft to them, though. You shouldn't have trouble installing these speakers. Either place them on handy AV furniture, or wall-mount if you're feeling flash, and find a spot for the sub, which is light enough to make moving it about in search of its optimum position painless. With it sat against my front wall, and a slim-line Marantz NR1710 AV receiver on processing and power duty (with a 100Hz rather than 80Hz crossover, as the satellites are rated down to around 110Hz), I was up and running. The down-firing wireless subwoofer is designed to deliver room-filling low frequencies without requiring too much floorspace. The 2.4GHz connectivity allows for premium, CD-quality sound anywhere in the room. Simply connect the compact, pre-paired transmitter to the subwoofer or LFE out on your receiver and place the subwoofer where it sounds and fits best in your room. The built-in all-digital subwoofer amplifier delivers ample power with high efficiency and true-to-source accuracy. LG OLED TV and LG NanoCell TV only supports 2.0 and 5.1 Channel systems. XBox, Windows, and Mac can support up to a 7.1 configuration.

With a new and redesigned Tactrix horn and copper-clad TCP polymer drivers, the Klipsch R-600F delivers intense, and immersive sound quality, proving the perfect choice for those after an amazing home theatre setup. Good sound is about more than the size and number of speakers. Some speakers are simply better than others at delivering rich bass lows and sharp, realistic highs. You can usually count on known technology like Dolby Digital 5.1, Dolby True HD or DTS-HD Master Audio. Our exclusive Tractrix horn technology delivers an impressive high-end response and greater extension, enhanced imaging and powerful dynamics.

The Klipsch look

Apart from some setup quirks -- something the Klipsch has in common with its Focal Sib Evo competitor -- the Klipsch Reference Cinema System 5.1.4 with Dolby Atmos is a wholly enjoyable speaker set. It's dynamic with movies and can sound great with music, too. Klipsch muscles in on the sub/sat market with a compact reimagining of its Reference range. Mark Craven reports

Midbass, meanwhile, is handled by copper-coloured Injection Molded Graphite (IMG) drivers, giving these speakers the same two-tone aesthetic as the rest of the Reference lineup. Two are used in the centre channel cabinet; across the board all are 3.5in units, a bit of a step down from the 8in versions in the brand's RP-8000F tower speaker. The Klipsch R-50C delivers a captivating concert and film experience. With its new and redesigned larger Tractrix horn and copper-clad TCP polymer drivers, the R-50C dramatically upgrades your home entertainment. Due to the UK leaving the EU, some of our delivery partners have changed the way we ship to international and offshore destinations. The Klipsch Reference Cinema System 5.0.4 with Dolby Atmos combines Reference Series acoustics with Dolby Atmos technology to deliver an immersive, multidimensional experience you won’t find anywhere else.A true surround sound system includes a center speaker, right and left front speakers, left and right rear speakers and at least one subwoofer. Dolby Atmos requires at least two extra speakers, as well as a receiver and content that support the newer technology. A: You can customize your Reference Wireless system to fit your needs and budget. Start with 2.0 and then you can go all the way up to a 7.1 home theater experience.* Klipsch knows how much fun it is to have your own home theater. They also know that running a long cable from your receiver to your sub can be challenging. They've equipped this system's sub with a matching wireless transmitter, so you can place it anywhere you have a power outlet and enjoy hard-hitting bass.
