The people who submitted their stories (to the Fortean Times magazine) just seemed to be saner and more credible than say, a man in your local giving such an account.This is a great book, I loved it as 'It Happened To Me' is my favorite part of Fortean Times so to get so many stories in one hit is really good. Perhaps it's the non-sensationalism of the accounts, the thoughtful descriptions and maybe sometimes the mundaness of their strange experiences. One notable example was where a young woman dreamed of chatting to some people in an unknown dingy flat, and then suddenly stopped talking, and resumed a few moments later. absolute disgrace, I dont know why they stopped selling this book at W H SMITHS, when they did it was never this extortionate.
