About this deal
Once I’ve heated it up, it’s sweet, almost syrupy, perfect for soothing the real or imaginary sore throat we all have right now – but with the fruity kick you’d hope for from a good cider.
Mulled Wine Instant Tea | Whittard of Chelsea
I absolutely love it and it’s just as well I’m rationing my way through iso in moderation or it might go quicker than it should. The tea is made with a blend of spices, including cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves, and is combined with black tea to create a rich and flavorful cup. I’ve always preferred hot cider to mulled wine, but the need to stay Covid safe this month has stolen the opportunity to enjoy either at a Christmas market or down the pub with friends. It probably sounds a bit obvious to describe it as tasting like mulled wine in gin form, but that’s exactly what it is.
Tea, Coffee, Hot Chocolate, Gifts and Tableware | Whittard of Tea, Coffee, Hot Chocolate, Gifts and Tableware | Whittard of
As someone who can’t bear a sweet pink gin, I have big reservations as I pour this berry-coloured syrupy mixture into a glass. An amazing warm drink on a cold day, or a cooler festive feel in a warm late autumn air, This Mulled Wine Instant Tea is bursting with sweet fruity flavour, overlaid with warming festive spices. Sip on a merry medley of flavour, featuring berries, apples, and citrus fruits blended with your favourite mulled wine spices.
It has so much depth and richness, some tartness, fruitiness, sweetness and even a slight tannic note, with light clove notes.
