About this deal

Absolutely great, surprising, you just press the AF button, look through the binocular, and everything is in focus! The porro prism Navigator Pro Series is the choice for recreational boaters, weekend anglers and hobby sailors.

The optical tubes are nitrogen-filled for fogproof performance, and the Steiner 7×30 Navigator Binoculars with Compass is waterproof to 16′. To hold up to the elements, the housing is made of temperature and impact-resistant Makrolon polycarbonate. It offers exceptional performance for the costs with many of the features found on premium, world-famous Steiner marine binoculars.

The Navigator 7x30 has a high-definition coating on the lenses which creates excellent light transmission. The large, illuminated compass is also equipped with a bearing mark to enable safe and reliable navigation on all seas.I'll agree that this is a very minor point, but the many, many, many straps that I have tested that don't have these can often feel rather stiff and get in the way much more frequently and so it is something that I do certainly appreciate. On the kayak and with a paddle and camera to deal with, this was certainly an advantage as it made it much easier for me to use these Steiner Navigator Pro 7x30 Binoculars with just one hand.

Throuh durable polycarbonate Makrolon housing that withstands 11G of impact, Floating Prism System that uses flexible silicon to absorb severe shock, impact and misuse without damage, Water Pressure Proofness up to 5 m, Nitrogen-Pressure-Filling into the optic against fogging up inside at temperature range between –20 °C to +60 °C and the protective, hydrophobic STEINER Nano-Protection on the lenses makinThe cylindrical eyecups offer you, even if you wear glasses, a perfect viewing comfort and reliable protection against stray light and wind from the side. I could be mistaken, but I seem to also remember Steiner could have been the only one of several "leading manufacturers" to have welcomed roving cameras into it's factories, which I can remember thinking presented a very "open and positive" impression of the company and it's products,as opposed to undertones of "secrecy and mystery" the viewer was left feeling about two or three of the other giant European manufacturers. The level of grip you get is also excellent, which on a small boat where you can and often do get wet is of more importance than ever.

NBR rubber armoring on the exterior is resistant to oil, acid, and weathering, as well as providing a slip-resistant grip in cold or wet conditions.

An extremely well-made instrument using high-quality components very comfortable in the hands, with high levels of grip. seals 14-psi pressurized dry nitrogen into the optic, for fogproof clarity in any condition - from artic cold to desert heat. It is equipped with 30mm objective lenses and 7x magnification which provides a steady view in rough seas, with a bright image guaranteed and excellent contrast and sharp detail.
