You may already be raising your eyebrows at the title, since Gok Wan is probably more famous for his fashion tips than knife skills, but this book is fantastic. This was billed as a very light, clean-tasting dish and I'd agree with that, going so far to say as they were a bit too plain for me, I'd have liked a little more flavour.

I was worried that the buns would pop open during steaming as my filling/sealing technique was not great, but actually they were fine and stayed together well. With 80 different recipes and chapters on Chinese Takeaway Classics, Dim Sum, Street Food and One Pot Wonders (to name a few), you will find recipes for all occasions and moods, whether entertaining friends or enjoying a meal at home by yourself.
