About this deal

The only real difference I can see between these two treadmills and their included features is that the LCD console on the F65 is 2.5″ larger than the one found on the F63 (9″ vs 6.5″). After reading, you’ll not only be well-versed in all the specs and features, but you’ll have a better ideas as to whether or not the F65 is the right treadmill for your home gym. Bluetooth speakers- you can connect your phone or tablet up to the built-in speakers wirelessly to jam out during workouts. But when it comes to the two most budget-friendly Sole treadmills, which is the perfect treadmill for you and your goals and budget?

To be a little more specific, the F63 comes with a running surface of 20″ x 60″ and the F65 comes with a running surface of 22″ x 60″. This year the F65 has been treated to a more powerful motor, which is now up rated to an impressive 3.25 Continuous Horse Power (from 2.75). This motor spec makes the F65 dominate most of the competition in the power stakes; however, the F63 has also had a boost under the hood so it’s only a quarter of a horse power behind it! Both have the same top speeds, incline capacities and 2.5 inch rollers, so in terms of speed, smoothness and noise levels there is really nothing to differentiate between the two (aside from a 200 quid price difference!) That said, Sole’s tech features aren’t as impressive – most of their equipment comes with pretty simple consoles with limited workout programs. If you want to pay for the Sole F65 Treadmill in monthly instalments, you might want to apply for the finance. When buying online, if you want to apply for finance fill out the application form online. The terms and conditions may vary for UK residents and people from other parts of the world. What are the benefits of the Sole App? The screen on the Sole F65 is 2.5” inches larger than the Sole F63’s screen (9” LCD vs 6.5” LCD) and the F65 has one-touch speed and incline controls on the safety arms, unlike the F63.Treadmills and running machines really are a great way to stay in shape and allow you to perform workouts from the luxury of your own home. The Sole Fitness F65 folding treadmill from Sole comes with a heavy duty motor allowing you to get up to speeds of 12mph, enabling you to vary your workouts from a slow walk to a full sprint. The sharp design of the F63 folding treadmill includes a vibrant 7.5” LCD console displaying workout information, dual turbo cooling fans to keep you feeling fresh, an MP3/iPod compatible sound system and dual water bottle holders. The build quality of Sole machines is often the standard by which many other brands are judged, and at this price point, the construction of the F65 is exemplary. When you climb aboard the large, unrestricted expanse of running area, you can feel, from the handlebars down to the base frame, that this is a very solid unit. The maximum user capacity has increased by a stone and a half for this new model, which is now rated at 25, stone (one factor that distinguishes this model over the F63) this makes the new F65 a good option for heavier and taller users. When it comes to your home gym, finding a treadmill that meets both your needs and budget can be a challenge. That's why this line of treadmills manufactured by one of the fastest growing manufacturers of cardio equipment, Sole Fitness, is such a great choice. Sole produces seven treadmills, the F63, F65, S77, F80, F85, TT8, and ST90. Sole's sole focus (pun intended) is to provide quality components at every price range to ensure top-notch performance. Sole engineers put a premium on creating the best user experience, which is reflected in the sturdy design and overall functioning of their machines.

The Sole F65 Treadmill should handle light to moderate running. It has a 3.0 horsepower motor which in our experience is on the smaller side for treadmills we recommend for running. Being that this treadmill is from Sole though, it should still perform well and handle a good amount of use. We also anticipate the motor to be quiet, but it’s impossible to know for sure until we get it in our studio for testing. The F65 is very similar in weight to the previous model. It weighs 267 lbs. Even though it’s sizable we don’t anticipate it being very hard to move because of the four transportation wheels. When folded you should be able to just push the F65 where you need it to go. Sole Treadmills are some of the easiest to move despite their heavy weights because of the two extra wheels on the front. And as a person who has a treadmill with a 22″ running surface, I agree the extra space is nice, but I’d expect more for such a big difference in price. Plus, the F63 comes with larger rollers and a better warranty (at least at the time of writing this). Two years on parts is pretty average for the price of the F65, but 3 years on parts for the F63 is amazing for the price. Some users reported that the handrail control buttons are poorly placed and easy to hit accidentally mid-workout It comes with a slightly more narrow belt, but it comes with the same motor, larger rollers, and a better warranty – which to me, probably makes it the better buy between the two.

The 22″ wide belt on the F65 will offer a slightly more luxurious feel, but at the end of the day, both treadmills are easily large enough for folks of all sizes to safely use. Moving on up the machine you’ll see a clever use of generally wasted space between the side support arms. Sole have taken the concept of an unimaginative support brace, and created a storage tray that spans between the two uprights which adds extra stability to the frame as well as offering loads of additional storage space to the two compartments on the console. Sole Fitness has used high-end rollers and copper ground wires, to reduce instability. Also, the larger rollers and the belt dimensions contribute to better belt life. As well as this, its sealed bearing design and middle PVC layer between the two rubber layers over the rollers contribute to its overall quality build.FYI, Sole’s older model of the F65 came with a 3.25 HP motor, so I’m not sure why they decided to downgrade the motor a little with the newer model, but I’m guessing it was financially motivated.
