About this deal

After leaving Ruthless Records and releasing the single “Deep Cover” with his protégé Snoop Doggy Dogg, Dr. Dre released his debut solo album The Chronic on December 15, 1992 through Death Row Records with distribution from Interscope Records.

Working alongside my longtime colleagues, Steve Berman and John Janick, to re-release the album and make it available to fans all over the world is a full circle moment for me,” said Dr. And, you know, going from that to the organization that I went to with all the things that were happening in the studio during the making, it was crazy. W.A group mate Eazy-E on the tracks “Fuck Wit' Dre Day (And Everybody’s Celebratin')” and “Bitches Ain’t Shit.I jumped back into the cassette thing and bought myself a good player and a bunch of tapes - both old and newly made. And I have the 2017 EU pressing that has a bit better quality control than the Death Row re issue though still has the shitty paper inner sleeves but has really nice sound quality.

Polly lined inner sleeves and as far as the sound quality goes mine does not have a single pop or tick throughout and it thumps through my system.

It encompasses a record label, pressing plant and online magazine, and collaborates with artists and musicians to create stunning audio-visual shows. Again I have many other cassettes to confirm it's not my player (twin decks, both sound the same) but the high end on this sounds like white noise almost.
