About this deal

This one had a very different feel to it and didn’t have quite as much suspense and drama but I didn’t mind that and still found myself hooked. Still not sure about this one. I have loved all the books in the series so far. all easily 5 star occasional 4.5. But this one is 3.5 rounded to 4, on the basis I am not 100% what is wrong. Could be I am heading for a reading slump, but I struggled to get involved. Never really looked forward to reading some more. I wasn’t expecting The Infirmary to be a prequel and I cannot understand why having gone through the whole saga about Gregson why the need to resurrect him again? I do not feel I want to continue with this book, but hate giving up without an adequate explanation? Look, I need to know if this is the right place,” she said, unconsciously mirroring his stance. “You look like him.”

However, his attempts at finding peace are complicated when the remains of a young woman are found at a historical sight. Even though he isn’t on duty, Ryan’s instincts won’t allow him to ignore case, especially one that might have a depraved killer at its heart.Nonetheless, it is the vintage crime authors such as Agatha Christie and Daphne du Maurier, which have had the most influence on her work with her DCI Ryan Mysteries. After practicing law for nearly ten years in London, the stressful environment and the long hours began to take their toll. It soon becomes evident that a body found in 2011 was indeed that of her mother and the police investigation becomes Operation Showstopper.

I have just finished Ryan’s Christmas and cant wait to buy my next book . My daughter has already told me she And now it looks like Lowerson has got himself in trouble again and I’ll have to read Penshaw to find out what’s going on. I love that I know all the places you write about, even more so now, as have just moved away from England and I’m now in Australia, just so nostalgic to read about the places I know. Thank you for your wonderful stories. ReplyDetective Chief Inspector Ryan,” she said. “I saw him—I saw you—on the news a while ago. You’re supposed to be the best.” I have listened to all of the DC Ryan books on audible and each time I finish one I can’t wait to listen to the next one. I think they are very well written and the stories are very well balanced. I do hope there are going to be some more. Reply In May 2021, Louise was shortlisted for the prestigious Crime Writers’ Association ‘Dagger in the Library’ award, which recognises an author’s entire body of work having been consistently enjoyed by library borrowers around the United Kingdom, and an author’s longstanding support of libraries. Ryan and his team must break through their closed ranks to uncover a secret which has lain buried for eight years, before the killer strikes again - this time, to silence the only living witness....

Ross took a leap of faith when she became a writer. She had to give up a career that paid rather well to get her books out, and her husband was more than happy to support her choices in this area. While she will always be a northerner at heart, she currently lives with her husband and their son in Bath on the outskirts of London where she spends her days writing her detective mysteries. Ross loved books from a very early age when she would find old books from her mother’s chest that she would staple and illustrate during her middle school years. Even as she has a varied taste in the types of novels that she reads, and will not mind reading the odd women’s fiction or a romance. I have really enjoyed listening to these books which Jonathan Keeble brings to life I do hope there will be more ReplyKai ant vyresniojo inspektoriaus Rajeno namų slenksčio išdygsta dešimtmetė, kuri teigia esanti žmogžudystės liudininkė, detektyvas dar nenutuokia, kad netrukus imsis įdomiausios bylos savo karjeroje. Į Niukaslą prie Taino atvažiavo cirkas drauge su drąsių akrobatų trupe, fokusininkais ir žonglieriais — vienas iš jų yra žudikas." As I am from Northumberland I find these books fascinating. I found the first one by chance on audible and and now making my way through the series. Reply
