The filmout process has also been used recently for some modern digital films for aesthetic purposes, such as Dune 2021 and The Batman. The Super Mario Bros. Movie Field Guide (2160p/Dolby Vision, 6:41): A journey through the familiar sights and sounds, people

endless commercials playing on the screen in between showtimes -- I would daydream about playing the original game on the giant theater screen. Hydra_Spectre TLDR (kinda! I type a lot): Only films shot on film, edited with true analogue processes, and then projected from reproductions of that film, will actually give a truly better experience when watching a 35mm projection. That only exists in a tiny number of indie and arthouse projects for modern films, though of course many arty cinemas will still show vintage reels of major filmd from teh pre-digital era. A high quality DCP projection of a modern movie that was shot on film but digitally edited will have a more accurate representation of the "analogue" picture the film recorded. For films both shot and edited digitally (ie 99% of Hollywood and indie output nowadays) there is no question, high quality DCP is better. Also, yeah, as some people have said, I really would rather have seen a whole making of documentary and concept art and stuff like that, things that actually go into how this film was made and all the blood, sweat, tears and obvious love that went into, rather than some celebrities talking about whatever random stuff. Hydra_Spectre Its a CGI animated movie that has never touched a frame of film in its life. If you want the 3D effect, watch it in digital 3D. Even if you settle on a cheaper 2D showing, there's no advantage in watching a film print of it as oposed to a decent DCP. Infact, a 4K DCP will give the exact result that the artists working on the film intended for you to see and were looking at as they made and edited the movie.

Thank God Miyamoto and Nintendo got in there before it was too late and made them reign in what they had planned for Peach, which was basically making it her movie with her front and center and her saving the day and so on, and instead we got The Super Mario Bros. Movie we actually wanted and deserved. aren't producing great games, too, but pound-for-pound this generation belongs to Nintendo for overall gameplay excellence and diverse spread of has been an amazing year for video game adaptations. Once thought to be an impossible task, recent projects such as The Super Mario Bros. Movie and HBO's The Last of Ushave proven that turning video games into linear narratives is not only possible but can yield truly remarkable results. In the case of The Last of Us, the series has managed to bring one of the most beloved video games of the last decade to the television screen, honoring the original characters while also breaking new ground. Meanwhile, The Super Mario Bros. Movie satisfied audiences with a film that played towards the iconic imagery of the game series. In Case You Wanted More Peaches Sadly, shooting on 35mm film is increasingly rare nowadays, as its very expensive, no new 35mm cameras are being made by the major manufactureres that the Hollywood system use because its compatible with all their lenses and rigs. You know "Panavision"? well their last film model was made in 2004 (you can still rent them) and their current cameras are digital and actually based on rebranded RED 8k digital cameras (Panaflex DXL and DXL2 from 2018.) Similarly, ARRI only make digital cameras these days, and if you want to shoot with film you have to rent a "Impeccably maintained" vintage camera from their archives, and thats becoming harder and more expensive as they are degrading over time.Another film that had the film effects applied similar to Ghibli’s films and Knives Out was Chip ‘n Dale Rescue Rangers 2022. Rian Johnson’s series Poker Face also had a similar effect. taking its cues from the more complex games that released since the first game on the original NES system, which was a very spartan and flat (but Getting to Know the Cast (2160p/Dolby Vision, 18:26 total runtime): The cast and crew talk up their characters and voice work in a
