ILLUMINATING FAST BOIL KETTLE — The Andrew James Lumiglo Kettle looks great and saves you time in the kitchen. With 3000W of energy it can rapid boil its large 1.7 litre capacity, illuminating with blue LEDs whilst it is heating your water. Ok. So this isn't the most expensive kettle it there, but I'm still a little disappointed but the finish. Some of the grooves (between elements) are not as smart as they should be and the join line (of the plastic) down from the spout to the base is a bit of a let down. trouble is it went like that and got worse so that the lid bent and seal got worse and eventually there becakme no auto shut off. time to get a new one, but flawed, hope new one does not have same thing.

CORDLESS JUG KETTLE WITH REUSABLE FILTER -- This electric jug kettle has the power cord in the base for easy lifting. The lid flips open through 90 degrees for filling. Plus, the plastic filter is simple to remove, clean and replace. The flip-up lid does not flip up to fully yet!! But it's still quite new so will hopefully loosen over time. There's no point in having a pop-up lid if you still have to use your second hand to open it fully.

Plus, the plastic filter is simple to remove, clean and replace. When is not full of water, it doesn't quite sit down on the base, but again perhaps this will loosen over time. With an outstanding 3000 watts of energy, this electric kettle can boil from one cup to its 1.7 litre full capacity in a fraction of the time compared to a standard kettle. There are clear level markers on the outside of the jug so you can easily see how much water you have in the kettle. looks good, and works well so far( am hedging my bets, as another brand of kettle I bought elsewhere started leaking after only 6 months, which is why I bought this one). Particularly like the blue lights when it's on, and how quiet it is.Only problem I had was that after about 14 months, the on switch became hard to switch on, but had to buy another of the same. Best kettle I've ever had
