The Snap-Cap washer is available to suit either Countersunk screws, or for any of the ‘Flat-Bottom’ fixings (such as pan-head screws). The Fix: Before using, simply warm the caps in an 'inside' pocket (ie close to your body), or in an oven or similar warming device to a maximum of 100°C. This effect can be easily confirmed, by examining vehicles that use hinge-caps over the number-plate fixings.
