About this deal

The English musical score is composed by Federico Jusid and a handful of compositions and arrangements feature throughout the series, including the credits scenes.

If he could have spent some of the time afforded the plot machinations on interrogating more intensively the myths of the Old West, the colonial impulse, the difference between retribution and justice and the other questions his western raises, the ambition that is everywhere in it would have been even more gloriously realised. Jed goes after Melmont, while the others are attacked by the hooded rider, a disfigured McClintock, before Whipp kills him. And then there’s Rafe Spall as David Melmont, with a performance just this side of demented, and quite perfect as a truly diabolic villain – the kind who can reach across the open plains to master the lesser fiends, the willing weak and the good men with no choice and cast the net around an approaching nemesis and bring her down.

Complete List of Songs, by episodes, with Music Samples, opening and closing credits and Trailer Songs. In the Mennonites' wagon, Locke finds a surviving child while Whipp cuts a newborn infant out of the dead mother.

Trafford and his herd are killed in a flash flood, and Locke confronts Melmont, who is shot by Martha and finished off by Whipp. New BBC Two Western series The English is now available in full on BBC iPlayer, and as well as having a musical score befitting of the landscape in which it is set the show also features an ear-worm filled soundtrack.

His fellow farmer and former army mate Billy Myers asks Sheriff Marshall if marks were found on the bodies, and Billy's wife Martha confronts Trafford for seizing her unbranded cattle. The Guardian gave it five out of five, stating: "although you might lose track of the details, the plot never becomes impenetrable or the performances less than compelling" citing Spencer and Blunt's performances as “a revelation”. Its a revenge tale that forces together a native American ex-cavalry scout and an aristocratic Englishwoman in an unlikely partnership. Spencer, best known for playing the werewolf Sam Uley in the Twilight movies, is a revelation – strong and silent, but also seething with frustration, intelligence, grief and the rage of a good man forced into terrible compromises.

But the show so explicitly wants to establish its Western atmosphere that the plot becomes an afterthought. Fifteen years earlier, Trafford arrives in Wyoming with his brutal and ambitious bookkeeper, David Melmont. We loved the series starring Emily Blunt and Chaske Spencer, and its soundtrack has its own set of fans, too! The absolute way of getting new soundtracks, listen to complete music: films and TV series, and see where the song plays. The BBC added: "Both of them have a clear sense of their destiny but neither is aware that it is rooted in a shared past.Recruiting the help of an ex-cavalry scout, we accompany her on her quest, and so do some terrific songs. V. Club said the show "has all the makings of a classic Western saga" and praised many elements including the performances, cinematography, and costumes, but were frustrated with the plot development, writing "there are hints of an in-depth, poignant tale hidden within The English, as Eli and Cornelia struggle with retaining parts of their identities after experiencing tragedy. From all the buzz around the series we've heard so far, it's shaping up to be one of the best BBC dramas of the year. There she finds the manager, Mr Watts (Ciarán Hinds, in the most terrifying of all his terrifying modes), in the process of torturing Eli. The show follows America, 1890 - two strangers who are drawn together in the violent landscape in 1890 America, and it has a star-studded cast including Emily Blunt, Chaske Spencer, Rafe Spall, Tom Hughes and Toby Jones.
