About this deal

PREP: Clean seams on used material with isopropyl (rubbing) alcohol or McNett Cotol-240™plus Cleaner & Cure Accelerator. Aquasure Kite Bladder Glue is one of the best urethane based glues available on the market. Resistant and flexible will allow you to make strong and durable repairs on your kite’s bladders, valves, canopy, dacron frames, windsurf and other sails. This specialized formula is ideal for sealing stitching and reinforcing high stress areas on wet suits, dry suits, Hypalon and PVC boats and hundreds of other items. Flexible urethane formula waterproofs, seals and protects against abrasion. Hundreds of watersports and household uses. Once cured, it’s permanent. The repair will generally last the life of the item. Use Aquasure® for repairing wader seams. Turn waders inside out and examine seams and fabric for gaps. Apply Aquasure® directly to the seam, extending over seam and on to fabric by 6 mm. Use brush to work Aquasure® under fabric folds and into stitching. Allow Aquasure® to cure for 8 to 12 hours.

Aquasure FD will flake away naturally off your hands in a few days. You can help this process somewhat by washing your hands with soap and water and using a disposable shop rag to remove as much of the adhesive as possible. We do not recommend using any type of solvent on your skin. When applied to clothing these adhesives are permanent. If used with FiberFIX (45mm), one 28g tube of kite bladder glue will allow you to make approx 1.2m of repair. And even more if fiberfix is cut down to a smaller width! Seam Grip, Freesole and Aquasure are moisture-cure adhesives. As soon as you pop the top on the tube and expose the adhesive to the moisture in the air, the countdown begins. Unfortunately, you are unable to stop the curing process, but you can slow it down by storing the adhesive in a dry environment like your freezer. We typically recommend storing as follows:Flexible: Cures to a stretchy rubber that bends with all types of footwear including cleats, sneakers, work boots and sandals You can color Aquasure FD using ceramic pigment found at most craft stores. Just mix it directly into the Aquasure FD. Once cured Aquasure FD is inert. AQUABOND Super High Strength Two Part Adhesive in a handy sized 250ml tin complete with a 10ml bottle of accelerator.
