So we pulled together all of the prices of these products to analyse the average prices as well as finding the cheapest and most expensive options. Finally, in October 2021, PixieBelle was able to ring the final bell, indicating that she had reached the end of treatment. The tumour is located behind her right eye and is pressing on her optic nerve which has already caused partial loss of sight in that eye. Pixie’s consultant wanted to preserve her vision as a priority and we were advised that the best course of treatment would be chemotherapy which started in July." Andy comments: “I signed up to fundraise for the hospital before we had any idea about Pixie-Belle’s condition. I tend not to believe in fate but it feels like fate now that we are under their care following Pixie-Belle’s diagnosis. The Charity’s latest Appeal is to help children like Pixie-Belle who have been diagnosed with brain tumours, so that’s what I’m passionate about fundraising for. Everyone at the hospital has been amazing and I can’t thank them enough for their care and expertise.”

Andy explains: “It was unexpected and we were stunned but it was something we had been warned by doctors could happen. However, we were delighted to get PixieBelle onto an experimental new medical trial pretty much straight away to target the tumour directly.” She has been so incredibly brave and has inspired family, friends and people from all around her community to fundraise for the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital Charity. Some people will of course be much more particular about the brands they will use. Whilst others aren’t interested in the brand and are more interested in the overall quality or price of the product itself. The next step was to try and narrow down our search even more. So we’ve already looked the prices of products in the Playsets and figures category. Then we’ve also looked at the prices of products from Pixie Belles. So this step combines the two and looks specifically at the price you’d expect to pay for Pixie Belles branded products in the Playsets and figures category. Astonished doctors with her determination after battling her way through more than three years of chemotherapy for a rare brain tumour. As you can imagine, pricing is one of the most important factors of any purchasing decision. We can find the perfect product for our needs, that fits the brief in every single way. But if it doesn’t fit our budgets, we simply can’t (or at least shouldn’t) buy it.

By chance, Andy had already signed up to take on the Manchester Half Marathon on 14th October to fundraise for Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital Charity, before his daughter was admitted under its care. Since his daughter’s diagnosis, Andy is determined to fundraise for the hospital’s recently launched iMRI Scanner Appeal, to build a new intra-operative MRI (iMRI) scanning suite that will revolutionise brain surgery at Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital.
