About this deal

Jericho has a found family of his own that also helped to get to the bottom of what happened to Mercy(Jericho’s sister) Like first of all, the storyline- MC's court each other or one chases the other or whatever and then they come upon a horrific case just perfect for the Mulvaney brothers to take care of, they investigate for a while during which time they have ungodly amounts of sex and then they find the culprit, both the MC's kill him/them together and they live happily ever after. Basically every story I've read so far. The psychopathic brothers also seemed to suddenly want to go against their basic nature and want to cuddle and crave affection like, oh I don't know, a normal human being so there went the whole sleeping-with-a-killer vibe. There is also some more hinting about future couples in the series and I cannot wait for them. This whole book was a delight from start to finish and I am already salivating for the next one. This crazy family has me so wrapped up in them. Second of all, the significant other that each psychopathic MC chose seemed to already know about their murdering tendencies and didn't mind which I already found disbelieving. I mean, one I can understand but all of them? Whatever their personal beliefs everyone is a hypocrite I'm sorry to say and making them seem not hypocritic is just unreal for a book focused on grey morality. And for a bunch of psychopaths- even though they were raised to pretend to be moral- they seem to have clear distinctions between right and wrong- which- sigh, tell me I'm not the only one seeing the problem here.

Fifth, the meet cute in this book is one of the best meet cute I have ever read. I absolutely loved it and it was so damn good. I loved how they met because they both wanted to murder the same man and both very instantely attracted to each other, if that isn’t love then I don’t know what is. Sixth, I really loved the start of this book. The premise was lovely and it was so promising to me. The first few chapters of this book made me think I would have another 5 stars read on my heads. But after a few chapters, the book just lost me. I felt like nothing was ever developed enough and all the cool ideas in the premise were not explored as much as I wanted them to be. Atticus was such a welcome surprise in terms of his personality and desires. I was not expecting to love how different he was compared to his brothers and he was a welcome change. Atticus's love interest, Jericho is a tornado of energy and domination that I was fully on board with from his first interaction with Atticus. They are a great pair that complement one another. It was nice seeing someone completely devoted and supportive for Atticus, considering he is the punching bag for his brothers. We learn so much about Atticus in this book, and I really, really felt for him. Onley James is keeping the series so fresh and dropping plenty of hints as to what we can expect from future books and I’m STOKED. It was fun. Like killing with my brothers.” The moment the words slipped free, Atticus closed his eyes, irritated with himself.

Oh my goodness, where do I begin? I guess I should begin with how I will forever imagine Netflix and Chill as Jericho and Atticus together on the sofa, with Jericho stroking through that red hair and Atticus doing whatever makes him feel comfortable!Trevor screamed like a topless girl in a seventies horror movie as another finger fell to his stupidity. His frantic gaze found Atticus. “I’m serious. I have money. A lot of it. Shoot him in the head, and I’ll give you fifty grand. Help me out here, man. My parents will be hella grateful.” James also stopped all speculation around Thomas and Aiden. And, we get a lot of insight into the family dynamic of Mulvaneys. Plus, some latest updates too. His target, Trevor Maynard, was a sniveling little wannabe gangbanger who got off taking advantage of the immigrant women his parents employed at their dry cleaners. He wore his shirts too tight and his pants too low and thought tying a bandana around his forehead made him some kind of thug. It took a hot minute but eventually Atticus grew on me. Like the saying goes, Jericho makes him a better man.

Once they separated, they each busied themselves with righting their clothing. Atticus was flustered. He had no idea what had just happened or how things had gone so wrong, but he’d just given a hand job to a man three feet away from a fingerless corpse. There was no way he was telling his father that. The man tossed the knife in the air, then caught the blade between two fingers, considering the question. “Three.” The stranger grinned, and Atticus’s stomach did somersaults. “Yeah, but you’re not straight either, are you?”Like, your literal brothers, or are you in a gang of beefy gingers, who look like they moonlight as insurance salesmen?” I’m so sorry book, it really pains me that I didn’t like you more than I did. I wanted to love you so badly but sadly we just weren’t meant to be.
