About this deal

Treasure Map: Lubber finds one to Arabella Drummond's treasure in the beginning of Pirateology, but with a vital piece missing, it's basically useless. The piece Lubber recovers before his death from the marooned member of Drummond's crew is stored in the hidden cache of the journal's last envelope, and the coded message reveals the treasure to be hidden in the northwest corner of the Krakatoa Island which was destroyed by a volcanic eruption in 1883. Work through the powerpoint, books and videos. Please let us know what each learning power means to you so we can add it to the class display. Dragon Hoard: Dragons' hoarding instinct is driven in large part because lying on their hoards presses gems into their soft underbellies, creating a form of armor over these vulnerable areas. Our Gnomes Are Weirder: Gnomes are depicted in Monsterology as short, but only around as short as extremely short humans, and physically human-like in other respects. They're nocturnal by nature, and keep bats and moths as pets.

Loose Lips: Spyology warns of this, their motto being "Telling a friend could mean telling the enemy." Dark Action Girl: Arabella Drummond, a female pirate captain who is the subject of Captain Lubber’s quest in Pirateology.Armistice Day: A Collection of Remembrance - Spark Interest and Educate Children about Historical Moments i have 2 haunted minions in my monstrology tome. one with and one without the description. the one without description might be the one you guys are missin Our Centaurs Are Different: Classical centaurs are found in Greece and the lower Balkan Peninsula. They do not use tools as complex as those of even iron age humans, but sometimes craft rudimentary bows.

I just noticed this today in the Summer Update/Test Realm notes: “Removed several mobs from Monstrology to avoid confusion with only new Wizards on the FTUE being able to get them”. That might explain it. Sea Serpents: The sea serpents in Monsterology combine reptilian and piscine characteristics, possessing mostly snakelike bodies in addition to fishlike fins and gills. They're large enough to prey on whales, but are themselves preyed upon by krakens and leviathans. Hello, I just found out that the Ritual creatures and Felix Photomonger III had been moved over to Dragonspyre and are no longer in Wizard City and was wondering if you were gonna change that soon. I have further proof of Felix being in Dragonspyre if you need it: https://media.discordapp.net/attachments/466792075841765406/803089380402659328/Capture_5.PNGA second major volume by the esteemed Dr. Drake -- a lavish exploration of fantastical beasts, from yetis to unicorns. All mythical creatures are real! The book describes how a four-legged dragon with wings could evolve via Darwin's theory of genetic mutation. This is inaccurate on two levels. One, there is no known way for a tetrapod to evolve an extra pair of limbs, and two, Darwin never discovered genetic mutation. Magic Wand: There is a section of Wizardology that details these among other wizard tools, claiming that the type of magic a wand is good for depends on what sort of wood you use. When will the main monstrology guide be updated? I see this list has all 104 for Wizard City but the main document still says 96. Or am I somehow missing the link to the updated spreadsheet? Irony: Several historical figures throughout history in the series are implied to have been vampires. Despite all his brutality and sheer depravity, Vlad the Impaler was not one of them.

The illustrations in Monsterology are incredible, as with all the books in the Ologies series. This was the book that first brought creatures of mythology into my life, and the descriptions and stories about said creatures were extraordinarily useful for bringing the illustrations to life. Eastern dragons are split between the five-toed Chinese long and the four-toed Korean yong, Japanese ryu and an Indonesian subspecies. Tibetan dragons are a separate, but physically similar, species adapted for mountain life. Hey, just wanted to let you know that Ritual Draconian is no longer in the WC section, and is now in the DS section proper. Humans Are Special: In Alienology, the only living creatures in the galaxy that can nullify S.L.I.M.E. are intelligent humans. A quest is given from Dworgyn that leads you to Haunted Cave. Daywalking Vampire: Vampireology credits the idea that vampires get destroyed by sunlight as a myth. Four variants exist: Arabian and Indian unicorns are the traditional lithe, graceful type, being distinguished by the Arabian variant's longer mane and short beard; Sumatran and Serican unicorns are squat, bulky, piglike animals with small horns on their foreheads. Serican unicorns even have small tusks. It’s me again! Guide and spreadsheet say 104/104, but in-game tome says there are 107 creatures in Wizard City. Absolutely no rush or anything but just thought I’d mention it.
