About this deal

When movement stops your own heat production slows down. In cold temperatures, it´s extremely important to add warm clothing fast when activity levels drop from high to low. For this purpose the Thermal Cloak can be worn like a coat or cloak:

The coolant fluid to circulate through it would need to be an alcohol but one with a higher flash point above 150 Deg.Far. or so and a freezing point way below that of the dry ice . A GHILLIE suit powered by Intermat's Stealth Technology allowing you pass undetected against night vision, thermal sensors and ground surveillance radars while approaching enemy linesor behind.. . A military/gov drone? Military drones are going to be undetectable to most people. They can fly high enough to conceal their sound. They can stay aloft for 24 hrs on a single tank of fuel. They have multiple cameras that can be used in concert to detect you. These include regular cameras, IR cameras, and cameras that can see through air obstructions such as smoke and clouds. They can also carry ordinance to use on targets. That is why in Patriot Dawn: The Resistance Rises I make such a point of using terrain masking, vegetation and constructed cover (cam nets and false roofs etc) and also in some of the battles the Resistance uses thermal smoke from tire fires to mask action on the ground from overhead drones. The Gatewood Cape by Six Moons Design is a very unique product. It’s a rain poncho that doubles as a tarp tent. (You read that right!) It weighs just 10 ounces, has a hood for your head, and a large 360-degree coverage when worn as a poncho. Use Nikwax ®Down Proof ™to restore your down's hydrophobic properties. Specially formulated to renew the Nikwax Hydrophobic Down treatment, it can also be used to provide improved water-resistance to any down bag. Follow directions on the bottle. Replacing the Jerven eyelets by tie down loops is so much better, avoiding water leaking inside the bag when it's raining. If you have a wound that needs to be kept dry, cut out a piece of fabric from the rain poncho and tie it over the normal bandage. Is it a human with an IR scope? You may or may not detect a human being using an IR scope. Thus, you may not know where that person is, from what direction they are looking, how far away they are, etc. In fact, you may never know they were there in the first place.

Climashield -eristeinen versio ei omien kokemusteni perusteella sovellu hätämajoitteeksi sadekeleillä. Ulkokuori kyllä pitää sateen, mutta viitan alta (majoittujasta ja maasta) tuleva kosteus kertyy viitan sisälle, jolloin viitan paino lisääntyy merkittävästi. Rinkkaa on muuten sitten tosi mukava kantaa kun sinne pakkaa märän ja painavan lämpöviitan. Rain suits have bad ventilation (you’ll sweat a lot) and you won’t be able to make a shelter out them. Shell: 100 % polyamide with waterproof and heat-reflecting "silver" polyurethane coating. Practically non-breathable, but also totally waterproof. The heat-reflecting coating further enhances the warmth of the cloak resulting in great warmth with even a lightweight insulation. It is made of the multi-spectral fabric “STEALTH CLOAK”which is an advanced material that protects against Visual, NWIR, SWIR, MWIR, LWIR &Radar Sensors & Weapon systems such as anti-tank missiles (ATMs, ATGMs, ATWs) heat seeking missiles, UAVs, UCAVs, DRONES, loitering ammunition, Thermal Imaging Sights (TIS), FLIRS. Roughly 1.5 pounds, it’s lighter than military surplus ponchos, while still delivering everything you’d expect from a poncho. The reduced weight is one of the main reasons why I like it.We've got a fantastic selection of poncho towels and waterproof changing robes in a wide selection of colours and sizes. The design of the Thermal Cloak is outrageously simple, and that´s what it´s all about: from simplicity comes reliability, and this type of gear must be worth your trust. The Thermal Cloak is basically just a waterproof, insulated square but by the clever use of zippers and tie-down loops, it can be worn as a coat, used as a sleeping bag, or pitched like a tarp. This very versatile piece of gear adapts to a multitude of situations making it a valuable companion in the field, all year round. The multiple functions of the Thermal Cloak Sleeping bag or bivvy So take the FLIR threat seriously and don’t think that just putting a casualty blanket over you will be like an invisible cloak. It is a complex camouflage issue that the thermal poncho can aid with, but may not be the whole solution all of the time. Depending how well you use it, it may only save you from a casual scan, or done well it make make you invisible to a careful search. What is being used to detect you? Keep in mind, not all IR is thermal based. Night Vision also utilizes part of the IR spectrum to enhance images by combining it with the part of the spectrum we can see, but it does not include the thermal information. Thermal detection produces a different set of information based on temperature differences. Even if you could completely conceal yourself from thermal imaging detection, you may still be plainly visible to simple night vision. Hang dry your bag whenever possible. This can be a long process (24-48 hours), but this is by far the best way to get the longest life from your bag. Use a well-ventilated, low-humidity environment. Unzip fully and flip it often to help speed the process.

Take your belt/strap and tighten it around your waist and pull up the excess length of the cloak so it does not interfere with leg movement. The lighter weight towel ponchos are perfect for getting dry and changed after any watersport, while the waterproof change robes are great for the cooler months as they will also protect you from the weather and keep you super warm. When we look at thermal masking we have to take into account the capabilities of modern USG thermal imaging systems. The .gov (and DoD) standard is the ability to discern either +/- 1 degree in temperature difference between objects and the ambient environment at any given range. So either one degree cooler or hotter and the shape of the image shows up in modern TIS. Most LE agencies use the same or similar equipment that possesses the same capabilities. In practice it’s hard to hide from either TIS or FLIR unless you do it right.I would suggest some sort of ghille suit to break up the silhouette combined with some sort of mylar lining. Might give you a chance in a casual scan. But let’s say you were using a tool to engage an enemy… that took us gonna get hot, fast. In fact we used that to identify combatants from non combatants in afg. It’s very clear to see who has fired at your troops. When it's time to go to bed, simply undo the poppers on each side and use it as an extra layer of warmth over your sleeping bag! For survival and emergency preparedness, the poncho is a clear winner. How to deal with the flapping in the wind First of all, they used the BEST isolation on the market. Yeah yeah, I know, you're going to say Primaloft is the Best insulation on the market, but you should not listen to the marketing whispering you BS to your ears.
