Just as our fruit cider portfolio has expanded over the years, the Kopparberg Premium Gin range can now already be seen to be growing. Rob Salvesen, our Head of Marketing, comments: To the delight of gin fans and following the successful launch of our debut premium gin, we’re proud to announce a second variant by launching Kopparberg Mixed Fruit Premium Gin, which is available only in Asda from 4 June for a limited period only – just in time for summer and ahead of World Gin Day on 8 June. In 1994 the brothers Peter and Dan-Anders Bronsman finally got the keys to the brewery. 2014, 20 years later, the turnover has gone from 0 to 2 400 000 000 SEK. 2013 – Global distribution partner Peter Bronsman, the brewery owner, is announced as the winner of the prestigious Ernst & Young Swedish Entrepreneur of the Year award. Kopparbergs Bryggeri was established in 1882 in Kopparberg, Sweden. 36 craft brewers joined forces to what today still remains as Kopparbergs Bryggeri. Generations of local families have worked for the brewery and our people will always be one of our keys to success. When people thought they liked dry cider we gave them sweet pear cider to love. When people loved sweet pear we introduced fruit cider for them to hanker. When people hankered fruit cider we launched frozen fruit cider for them to discover. 2021 – Kopparberg Vodka Enhancing the key flavours of the drink to create a refreshing summer beverage. Building from the clear strawberry flavour profile of the gin, the added strawberries bring the aroma and ‘colour’ identification to the serve. Combine gin, lime juice and simple syrup with ice in a shaker. Shake, pour into a champagne flute, then top with sparkling wine. This March, as experts in premium fruit refreshment, we’re launching Kopparberg Passionfruit & Orange Gin – which offers a bold and exotic taste. Best mixed with lemonade or tonic and served over mountains of ice with a slice of orange for the ultimate summer drink. A sweet Spritz topped with Prosecco appealing to Aperol Spritz drinkers looking for a sweeter alternative. Can be garnished with pink grapefruit to balance the sweetness for those seeking a more classic Aperol Spritz option Ingredients If you are a licensed outlet with Kopparberg kegs, you may be eligible for reimbursement on the excise duty paid for the remaining liquid. Per current Government guidelines the duty reclaim process will apply to all best before expiry dates up to and including 4th July 2020. The orange and passionfruit flavours were quite apparent when opening the bottle and while pouring out my first measure, as the strong but pleasant citrus aroma is incredibly present, without being overpowering. Described as “a bold and exotic taste”, I had high hopes, and I wasn’t disappointed.
