Paramount are set to release a limited edition, Raiders Of The Lost Ark 4K Ultra HD + Blu-ray Steelbook this June in the UK.Raider of the Lost Ark comes to Ultra HD Blu-ray from Paramount Home Entertainment featuring 2160pHEVC encoded video and lossless Dolby Atmos/TrueHD 7.1 channel sound. Raiders’ was restored from the original negatives (overseen by Steven Spielberg) and remastered with a new 4k digital intermediate for Ultra HD Blu-ray. The movie is presented in 2160p (4k) with Dolby Vision and HDR10 providing an expanded color range. The 4k HDR video bit rate ranged between 50 and 60Mbps with peaks into the low 80s. improved even along gray and earthy accents inside. The gold statue is newly alive with tremendous brilliance that is comparatively flat and yellow on The video has an undisturbed and visibly grainy texture that occasionally takes on more emphasis but, I never found it bothersome.
