I just chose to paint the top triangle and the top 1/4 portion as well as the bottom 4-5 inches of the crayon! 🙂 I painted 2 thin layers just to be sure that it was all covered smooth and even! 🙂 With your E6000 glue, you will want to glue your cardboard cone to the top of your mailing tube and also glue your tube together (or shut) so that the top doesn’t come open if you don’t want it to (although it could be a super cool secret crayon storage container! 🙂

Step 4. Once the glue is completely dry the next day, give the top and bottom of the giant crayon another coat of spray paint. Let dry completely. Designing and crafting a giant crayon prop is a blend of art, engineering, and a splash of creativity:
Set aside in a safe place and wait about 24 hours for the glue to completely dry. I know it’s a long time, but this glue is incredible and needs some time to completely dry and cure.Step 3. Place some glue along the inside rim of the mailing tube lid, then place the painted cone inside the lid over the glue and press down hard for a few seconds. Step 1. Place the paper mache cone on top of the mailing tube.
