About this deal

Throughout the decision of which they would rather do, the players may question the Judge, thus clarifying their choice between the Poison Cards. The Judge may answer in whatever way they choose, attempting to make either option seem as unpleasant as possible. The goal is for the Judge to make the decision as hard as they can. The judge reads each card given to him aloud and then selects one to place on the B spot on the board. The person who gave him that card earns one point.

The Judge chooses a Poison card from their hand and places it face up on the A spot on the game mat. This is card A for the rest of the round.

To score, you need to vote with the majority of the players. So, not only do you have to think about which scenario you’d rather endure, you have to guess what everyone else might choose, undergoing literally seconds of ‘will they, won’t they?’ torture as you do. When a Double Down card is played and the player scores zero points in the round they lose their Double Down card for the remainder of the game. Reveal Rather than creating questions on the fly, this game allows for a little less thought, and a little more fun! Poison Cards are chosen, and two are decided between by the players. If you do not agree with the majority, then you may end up a loser! Choose wisely. The game box says it is for 3-16 players, but the sweet spot is somewhere in the middle of this range. You want more cards for the judge to choose from and more people to have to try to read than you’ll get with three players and, honestly, anything over 10 is just going to slow the game down far too much unless you change the point total you’re aiming for. In fact, the score pad doesn’t even go beyond 10 player names. With more players, it’s also going to be a lot more difficult for the judge to ever score those three points from a tie. Hint: players should choose a Poison card that will create the most difficult decision when compared to card A. Select Card B

Which would be worse? To wear zombie face paint at all times or to be trapped in a mine with 100 people for five days? And which would the other players consider to be worse? The instructions above are repeated for each round. The game ends when a player reaches fifteen points. HOUSE RULES Each player takes an A card, a B card, and a double down card. The poison cards are shuffled and six are dealt to each player. Each poison card lists an unpleasant scenario such as ‘wear a bike helmet at all times’ or ‘always be running 30 minutes late’. In a split decision, the Judge gets one point for each player that didn't vote with the majority. Two-for-one
