About this deal

but also a great specialised option to add to a detectorists tool-kit for those who want a modern, fun beach detector. It’s the perfect machine for starting your detecting adventures with if you are brand-new to the hobby, but also a great specialised option to add to a detectorists tool-kit for those who want a modern, fun all round detector. We’re not going to spend a huge amount of time comparing the three Vanquish detectors and the new range of Simplex now (more on that in another blog) but instead want to see how the new X-TERRA PRO will change the marketplace for those looking to buy their first machine, or those looking for a specific detecting experience.

It’s the perfect machine for starting your detecting adventures with if you are brand-new to the hobby, but also a great specialised option to add to a detectorists tool-kit for those who want a modern, fun beach detector. Minelab has also made sure that the X-terra Pro is a rugged and durable machine, capable of withstanding the rigors of even the most demanding treasure hunts. The detector is built to withstand harsh weather conditions, and is both water-proof and dust-proof, making it suitable for use in a wide range of environments.Nokta are producing some great machines and are increasing their market share. Maybe Minelab didn’t like this and lauched the XTerra Pro deliberately to hobble sales of the Simplex+……who knows! Since you already own and love the XP Deus II, Minelab Equinox 800, and the Nokta Gold Kruzer, and all of the new metal detectors on the market that are affordable, why did you decide to get a Minelab X-Terra Pro? I love the immediate familiarity like the Equinox. The controls and sounds are very similar. The folding feature on this machine undoubtedly beats the Nox, it is so amazingly compact! I love that I can use the same coils I already have from my Equinox, too.

While the X-TERRA PRO has; All metal, Field 1 and 2, Beach 1 and 2, Park 1 and Park 2. So slightly more pre-set options on the X-TERRA PRO. The X-Terra Pro looks amazing, with its ‘camo green’ coloured control box and arm cup, and a shape which looks like a hybrid between the Minelab Equinox and the Minelab Vanquish. As with any other Minelab machine, the X-Terra Pro functions brilliantly on land, but it’s the beach where this machine is really making waves (see what we did there). As well as superb build quality, it ships with a 12 inch DD coil which Minelab have named the “V12”. The Simplex has been one of the best-selling machines in various countries and so has a great reputation. So, is that the case with the X-Terra Pro as well? All these different modes are just default settings differences? AUDIO CONTROL – With multiple-tone audio options, the sound of treasure has never been clearer — X-TERRA PRO’s advanced audio means you’ll not only ‘hear’ if a target is a trash or treasure but you’ll also be able to gauge its size and depth simply by listening.
