Not an approved use in California: Using a 1% solution of Virkon™ S, shampoo by hand or spray lightly with a hand-sprayer and leave to dry. Shake or vacuum to remove residue.

Proven on-farm efficacy offers producers reassurance and the knowledge that the product they are using will be effective in real farm conditions, where low temperatures and high levels of organic challenge can present serious problems to other disinfectants. Cold and Organic Challenge Resistant: Maintains high effectiveness in cold temperatures and in the presence of organic contaminants. Pots, flats, trays: Use a dilution of 1:100 or 1.3 oz. per gallon of clean water. Soak tools to ensure complete coverage. For spray bottle with in-use solution: Store in a cool dry place. Keep out of reach of children. Do not mix this product with other chemicals.

Directions For Use

Foot dips: Routine disinfection of footwear. Use a 1:100 dilution (10g of Virkon S for every litre of water). Replace solution once it has either become soiled or after 4-5 days. Using a pressure washer or other mechanical sprayer, apply Virkon® S solution at an application rate of 300ml/m2.

PROCESSING PLANTS: Spray Virkon™ S at 1% solution to disinfect and clean walls, ceilings and floors. Saturate hard, non-porous surfaces for a period of 10 minutes. Allow surfaces to air dry. Foot Dip Disinfection: Dilute 10 grams of Virkon S to 1 liter of water, replacing the solution when soiled or every 4 to 5 days

x 5gm of Rely+On™ Virkon™ tablets make up approx 5 litres of Virkon Disinfectant. Each 5gm tablet makes up 500mls of Virkon disinfectant. Ideal for Various Applications: Especially suitable for low volume applications, meeting diverse needs. Not approved in California for use on ventilation and other equipment and water systems. It is not intended to directly affect agricultural production and must not be applied to plants, seeds, or soil. If necessary, remove or cover these items prior to use of the product.

Applications: For cleaning and disinfecting all hard, non-porous surfaces, equipment, utensils and instruments in veterinary practices, kennels, stables, catteries, etc. The potassium monopersulphate oxidises proteins in bacteria cell walls and viral structures. This is what disrupts the bacteria's physical structure and the viability as pathogens. When using Virkon disinfectant as with all cleaning / disinfecting agents, we recommend wearing gloves and eye protection. A cold fogger or mister should be used, as the noise of a thermal fogger may disturb the animal’s behaviour. Step into the container with boots on and use a clean brush to clean boots with disinfectant solution.Please note that the above instructions are for making 1 litre of Virkon disinfectant solution and is to be used as a guide. You can make 500mls of Virkon solution using only one 5gm tablet. Make a 1% solution of Virkon™ S by filling a suitable container with water and Virkon™ S according to the dilution table. Stir thoroughly until fully dissolved. Change the solution every 2 to 3 days or when it becomes visibly soiled. Use a mechanical mister to apply the Virkon® S solution at a rate of 1 litre per 10m2 of floor space. Surface disinfection: Routine disinfection for all surfaces, earth, wood, and concrete. Use a 1:100 dilution (10g of Virkon S for every litre of water). Apply via a pressure washer or other mechanical sprayer. Apply Virkon S solution at an application rate of 300ml/m2. Remove all litter droppings and manure from floors, walls and surfaces of barns, pens, stall, chutes and other facilities and fixtures occupied or traversed by poultry or other animals.

Rely+On ® Virkon ® tablets are convenient to store and easy to use. Tablets are especially suitable for low volume applications applied by a spray bottle. Dissolve one tablet per 500 mls of water and the solution is ready for use.BROAD SPECTRUM EQUINE DISINFECTANT/DETERGENT/WASH FOR CLEANING AND DISINFECTING STABLES AND EQUIPMENT The container is not suitable for reuse. Triple rinse the container before discarding or recycling it. Virkon™ S may also be used to disinfect irrigation tanks and lines. Not an approved use in California. Run a 1% solution through the system or soak equipment in a 1% solution. Let stand for ten minutes and flush system with clean water after treatment. Professional Use: Specifically designed for professional applications, ensuring reliable results in various settings. Isolate header tank at the mains and drain off to drinker points farthest from tank. Clean out any gross soiling and debris. Refill with water and add the appropriate volume of Virkon S powder, thoroughly stir and leave for 10 minutes. Flush system through to all drain-off points and leave for a further 50 minutes before draining system and refilling with clean water.
