About this deal

OSD Language Arabic, Chinese (simplified), Chinese (traditional), Czech, Deutsch, English, French, Hungarian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Netherlands, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Spanish, Swedish BenQ takes eye care seriously with a TUV Rheinland certification and adjustments for Low Blue Light and Color Weakness. You can employ variable filters for red and green deficiency if needed. Five audio modes for the built-in speakers effectively expand the sound envelope in width and depth. The EX3210U has the best sound I’ve heard from a computer monitor, thanks to some clever tuning and three drivers with nine total watts of power.

Before we talk about the beast that goes by the name BenQ MOBIUZ EX2710U, let’s have a few words about the company, since this is our first article about a BenQ product. The MOBIUZ EX2710U has the same design scheme as its bigger brother. The overall clean design makes it a monitor that fits into all sorts of table arrangements and interior designs. The maximum number of colors, which the display is able to reproduce, depends on the type of the panel in use and color enhancing technologies like FRC. It also has VESA DisplayHDR 600 certification, especially suitable for the next-gen console gaming experience. Unique to the BenQ monitors are the HDRi modes. It is a built-in HDR preset for those who like to tinker around with the look and feel of the display. The pixel pitch shows the distance from the centers of two neighboring pixels. In displays, which have a native resolution (the TFT ones, for example), the pixel pitch depends on the resolution and the size of the screen.

Connectivity

There are various panel technologies. Each has its own specific features - viewing angles, color reproduction, response time, brightness/contrast, production cost, etc. The image quality depends directly on the type of the display panel used.

Here’s the second rare and unique thing I loved (the remote control being the first one). I remember when I was a kid, almost all monitors had built-in speakers. But the truth is that everything about them was so bad that we were always forced to buy external speakers. Perhaps, this was also the reason why they slowly disappeared. I wouldn’t say the same for the BenQ MOBIUZ EX2710U. Size class of the display as declared by the manufacturer. Often this is the rounded value of the actual size of the diagonal in inches. If you are gaming on a PlayStation or an Xbox, that should suffice. You will get a 120 FPS experience, which is the theoretical maximum for the new consoles. It has tilt, height and swivel adjustments except that it cannot support vertical mode. If you want, there’s always an option to mount the monitor on a monitor arm. Of course, that is if you have that requirement, otherwise, general users who don’t need vertical mode will find the default monitor stand to be sufficient. Connectivity Are you having trouble finding a suitable monitor for your PS5? Well, today I will recommend our two incredible monitors for you! It’s EX3210U and EX2710U The most widely used panels are those with 6, 8, and 10 bits for each of the RGB components of the pixel. They provide 18-, 24-, and 30-bit color, respectively. Another difference between EX3210U and EX2710U is panel bit depth. Although you can get a great visual experience on both of them, EX3210U is true 10 bits here, while EX2710U is 8 bits+FRC. If you are extremely demanding of color, you can't go wrong with EX3210U.

The secret weapon of the MOBIUZ EX2710U is the display panel. It is an IPS panel with a refresh rate of up to 144Hz with a native resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels (4KHD). Reproducible color shades are 1.07 billion, with a DCI-P3 color gamut of 98%. This means that it is not only suitable for anyone who wants to enjoy their favorite games, but also for content creators and artists who want to take advantage of its color accuracy for video and photo editing. Light Tuner lets you choose from 20 color settings for your favorite effect. Whether you play FPS or RPG, you decide how your game looks for your best experience. There are seven SDR picture modes and three more for HDR. HDRi can be used with SDR content to enhance color and dynamic range. The look is something you’ll have to try for yourself. I’m not a fan, but these modes will certainly appeal to some users. Display HDR is the best choice for actual HDR content. If you want to calibrate, Custom is the best choice. But the default RPG mode is reasonably close to correct. Tweakers can choose between multiple color temps and gamma presets and an option called Light Tuner that affects mid-tones. I’ll talk more about that below. Also included is BenQ’s Brightness Intelligence+, which uses a front-mounted sensor to alter brightness and color temp to best suit your room lighting.

A couple of things to keep in mind: 144 Hz is supported out of the box via the DisplayPort 1.4 cable. However, with HDMI 2.1, you can only get 120 FPS.
