About this deal

Luna, the aptly named "Headhunter" in a guild of professional assassins, apart from her vicious nature as a result of being born into poverty to fight for her survival, was hired to take down Lexia. Once Yuuya enters the picture, Luna is swiftly taken care of by the both of them, only to be forgiven if she repents of her ways of evil and turns into good, which leads to her being Lexia's exclusive bodyguard. Lexia von Arselia, the half-elf, is the first princess of her Kingdom of Arselia. Like Kaori in the real world, Lexia is literally yet another damsel-in-distress character that got saved by Yuuya, only to fall in love and try her best to win his affection. Isekai de Cheat Skill o Te ni Shita Ore wa, Genjitsu Sekai o mo Musou Suru: Level Up wa Jinsei o Kaeta Dude, literally one of the most iconic folk tales in my country, the legend of Sadko, is about a dude who was isekai-ed into the world of an underwater king. that premise sounds way more interesting than this show tho, at least its a tale thats passed on for generations and not some dumb light novel that copies and pastes everything from other works in its genre.Despite its promising title, this anime betrays any isekai expectations within the first few minutes. The very essence of the genre, the exploration of a fantastic parallel world, is sacrificed for a clichéd romance involving a popular high school student. Isekai elements are confined to a negligible fraction of the story, leaving fans of the genre bitterly disappointed.

For the record, I fail as soon as Kaede, the redhead, enters the frame in the opening credits. Watch episode five; gaze into those enormous vermilion eyes: you can really tell when both of Kaede's brain cells are operating at maximum capacity.)

The theme was well chosen as a fan service comedy delivery system: the nicest guy in the world gets everything he ever wanted, and he has to learn to let himself be happy; which is to say, the conflict is internal. Aside from that, the stakes are hilariously low: threats ranging from intramural sports to escaped lions are introduced, defeated, and dismissed in five minutes flat, leaving plenty of time to watch a cute girl eat a crepe. While continuing to explore the forest, Yūya and Night encounter a girl being menaced by a group of goblins. Despite Night strangely trying to keep him away from her, Yūya saves the stranger. The girl introduces herself as Luna, claiming she came into the forest for training. After Yūya treats her with a kindness she never experienced before, she falls for him and asks him to help her improve, which he readily agrees to. Sometime later, Yūya is forced to take a break from their team-up in favor of his field trip to a mountainous piece of land owned by Ōsei Academy. To the students' bafflement, they must spend this weekend sleeping outdoors and foraging for food. Yūya once again impresses his fellow students by hand-catching fish for dinner. In the other world, however, Luna is revealed to be Headhunter.

Starts out interesting with a fat unattractive and insecure main character who has been taught by his grandfather that being a good person will result eventually in good things coming to him. So he tries his best, but all throughout his life, everyone including all kids at school, his parents and siblings aswell as his part time employer give him shit to the point of him close to breaking down. But "animation", which is what an ANIME is for, does not happen much in this show. This show has more still shots with characters talking over them than it does animated scenes in my opinion. Later episodes feel like they ran out of animation budget and literally have shots of grass fields, or a treeline, or the side of a house, while you hear what SHOULD be animated happening in the audio, like footsteps or conversations happening. Also some epic fight scenes or actions scenes are reduced to still shots and "action lines" imitating movement. This is an ANIMATION not a manga, it should be animated not have "action lines" used in manga. Also, this story also has a lot of "status windows" for people and items, and the show moves past these very detailed WRITTEN status windows so fast that you literally have to pause to even see some of them. Some only have like 1 second of screen time. Watch-ability takes a hit here, so all in all, standard animation 3/10 In August 2022, it was announced the novels would be receiving an anime television series adaptation. [1] The series is produced by TMS Entertainment and animated by Millepensee, with Shingo Tanabe directing, Shin Itagaki serving as chief director and supervising the scripts, Hiromi Kimura adapting Rein Kuwashima's character designs for animation and serving as chief animation director, and Akiyuki Tateyama composing the music. [4] [5] It aired from April 7 to June 30, 2023, on Tokyo MX and other networks. [c] The opening theme song is "Gyakuten Geki" ( 逆転劇, "Turnabout Drama") by Tsukuyomi, while the ending theme song is "Hachimitsu" ( ハチミツ, "Honey") by Shikao Suga. [5] [40] Crunchyroll licensed the series, and will be streaming it along with an English dub. [41] Muse Communication licensed the series in Asia-Pacific. [42] The initial streaming of the series' 13th and final episode was inexplicably delayed by two days, which ended up airing on June 28, instead of June 26. [43] [44] Speaking of looks, while I praised the animation and art style, I have to admit I broke out laughing when the show mentioned it was his middle school graduation. This means that Yuuya and all his classmates are 15 years old despite looking like they're in their mid-20s.

For kids? Lol, the culture of many peoples is based on legends about such characters as Robin Hood, Odysseus or Til Ugenspiegel. There are many lessons in these legends about the importance of wit, cunning, and resourcefulness. Not to mention the fact that fantasy, in principle, is a distant heir to fairy tales and chivalric novels. yeah, but you cant with a straight face compare these self insert power fantasies like this to thousand year old fables, you cannot lmao action Action anime usually involve a fairly straightforward story of good guys versus bad guys, where most disputes are resolved by using physical force. It often contains a lot of shooting, explosions and fighting., ecchi Ecchi, or etchi (エッチ), is a common Japanese word meaning "indecent", "lewd", "frisky" or "sexy"; its usage can be compared to the English word "naughty". Among western anime fans, the term is used when vague sexual content, such as skimpy clothing or nudity, is prominent. In Japanese, however, it is a catch-all term for all things anyhow sexual in nature, mild or otherwise., fantasy Imaginative or fanciful work, especially one dealing with supernatural elements and themes., female student Pretty much exclusive to hentai shows only unless an ecchi show has implied sex and/or a strong indicator of nudity. A character is considered a student if she goes to school, doesn`t matter if it`s high school, college or homeschooling, but she should be of appropriate age for a student; a housewife going to college should not get this category., female teacher Any kind of female teacher will do, even if she only does home visits. Female teachers imply mature women (even if they sometimes look like schoolgirls) dressed in what women would typically wear when doing official business (like a blouse, pinstripe dress with side front slit), but of course, not limited to that. Furthermore, school nurses also count as female teachers unless they`re actually wearing a nurse outfit, which they almost never are. Such is the charm of the isekai genre, with its promise of a new world and new possibilities. And while this particular tale may not have been a shining example of the genre, it was not without its merits. The concept of the protagonist obtaining a cheat skill and becoming unrivaled in both the other world and the real world was an interesting one, to say the least. But one cannot help but wonder if the author's penchant for over-explanation was a cheat in and of itself, a means of covering up any weaknesses in the plot or characters. There was a set up for a bigger story what was nice but I couldn't sit through another book telling me how hard the MC had it and how great he is now all while everything falls into their lap - and it is just sort sharp points to tell you he had it tough and hes great rather than a story unfolding making you feel 'ouch, poor bloke' and 'oh wow, he really has grown powerful'.Disclosure: Kadokawa World Entertainment (KWE), a wholly owned subsidiary of Kadokawa Corporation, is the majority owner of Anime News Network, LLC. So, the status report for novelist Miku's 2nd (and hopefully last) rondo: negatives all around, with the only positive being Millepensee's animation (which went ham-and-fizzle at times). I really want to admire Iseleve, there is an intent in it being just as bad as Shinka no Mi, but this is easily the best that Shin Itagaki's staff team can muster out of an author that is generally regarded as a lunatic in his or her own right for some of the worst and laziest Isekai works ever made. As far as isekai premieres go, this one starts off incredibly strong. Those first 10 minutes showing the bullying he faces from not only his classmates but from his siblings and parents are some emotionally brutal stuff. Watching him face constant oppression but still strive to do the right thing—even knowing the beating that awaits him—is more than enough to win me over. I can't believe I'm about to say something positive about The Fruit of Evolution, but at least that godforsaken blight understood that it has become impossible to treat the cheap reincarnation power trip with any seriousness anymore; you either handwave the setup as a necessary but perfunctory evil—which is what most of these shows tend to do lately—or you confront the whole core of your premise as the fundamentally stupid joke that it has become. Watching Tenjou wallow in dramatic self-pity for nearly an entire episode is neither entertaining nor emotionally moving. It merely reinforces the toxic subtext that so many of these crummy shows peddle, intentionally or otherwise: that to live as a nice, regular, but not conventionally attractive or popular guy in the everyday world is a fate worse than death.
